Dil Ke Taar...Epi Nov 12
Hi everyone
It's been a while since I made a review post. Today's episode gave me the inspiration to write something.
I was a bit disappointed yesterday because of the poor editing and constant interruptions by the Qureshi family but today, the flow was great with the right amount of smiles, tears and emotions.
Relationships are complicated business. It's those invisible ties- those dil ke taar'- that keep us connected in this world. Every relationship goes through ups and downs, but as long as that invisible string is there to pull us closer, it will eventually bring us back to the people who are destined to be in our lives.
Asad-Zoya: Thanks to Nuzzat, Ayaan and Humeira, we got a rehash of how their relationship came to evolve from nothing to everything; from hatred to love and from conflict to mutual understanding. Despite all their differences and their separations, their dil ke taar' kept them tied and connected to each other. It's this invisible string that has brought them back together after the most difficult tests of their relationship.
Zoya-Khan Family: One of the most poignant and heartwarming scene was Zoya's monologue before she cut the cake today. I know a lot of us get annoyed by her OTT behavior at times but its instances like these that give us an insight into the depths of her heart. "Mujhey aaj koi wish nahin chaahiye." "Meri zyaadatar wishes shayad Allah ke spam folder mein jaati hongi" These two statements were very telling. A girl who spent most of her growing years, dreaming and yearning has finally found what she had been looking for- unconditional love and a family she could call her own. The strings that tie her to Asad, Dilshaad and Najma are too strong to snap and come what may, will always bring her back home.
Ayaan-Humeira: These two have been friends since childhood. Even if things stray for a while, they will always have this connection between them. After watching today's episode, I am no longer sure that the PH will pursue its original story of two brothers in love with same woman. Today, Ayaan was the old Ayaan- no longer awe struck by Zoya. His interaction with Humeira via the skit helped him reconnect with her once again. Whatever may happen in future, his dil ka taar shall always remain attached to Humeira.
Dilshaad-Rashid: Despite living apart for the past 17 years, there is no denying that the estranged couple still have feelings for each other. Now that Rashid has suffered a life threatening illness and wants to reunite with his family, his emotional blackmail is definitely going to tug at those strings between him and Dilshaad. Let's see what decision she takes.
Zoya-Humeira: For me, this was the scene of the day. The two doe eyed sisters definitely have a string that has connected them, albeit loosely over the past 17 odd years. "Tum meri parchai ho" "Hamare beech jaise koi dil ka taar hai." These symbolic statements will hopefully bring these sisters even closer in the coming weeks. Zoya was gracious in her praise- she called Humeira, a prettier and thinner version of herself. I can just imagine when Zoya finds out the truth, she would be the most giving sister in the world.
Precap:
- Nikhat in water. Imran saves her. She hugs him. Will jealousy play a role here? Will Haseena take advantage of this situation and create a rift between the half-sisters?
- Asad-Zoya. Finally, we have a private scene between the two. Zoya's new watch is probably a gift from Mr. Khan. Yes, Mr. Khan, each day you spend with Ms Museebat is a special day in your life- whether its Mangalpur, bhang ke pakore, mini skirt fiasco, Ajmer or her accidental nikaah. You will never forget any of them. Those invisible strings will always pull you both towards each other, whether you wish her on her birthday or not. I am sure with time even she won't get upset about it.
