I dont know I found the doctor to be advocating a criminal act of slipping saanchi medicine without knowing.
How do you feel ethically about this?

In any case, saanchi is not deranged or suffering from some chemical imbalance in the brain.

Her only problem to date is that anandi herself or references to anandi get on her nerves.
She needs some counseling for emotional problems maybe but certainly nothing that needs medication or anti-depressants or nerve calming.

But they could have just been honest with her and told her to take the medicines and just said that these are muscle relaxants or something. why slip them into her food or drink?

I dont like this doctor, even though she is the best psychiatrist in rajasthan.

For quite some time, I have doubt that either Uttaran CVs have taken over BV or someone from that team has joined BV because a lot of tracks (like obsessive female, wrist cutting etc.) seem to be 'inspired' by Uttaran. The present dilemma (giving medicine without Sanchi's knowledge) can also be solved Uttaran style- giving medicine mixed in milk.
Sanchi perhaps needs counselling- not medicine, but perhaps creatives do not know any such thing.

For mild depressions too they do give medicines to calm or something along with counseling. But I believe no doctor would suggest to give the medicine without the patient's knowledge, least of all a pyschiatrist/psychologist. It was so wrong.

The way that storyline ended was hilarious. with ichcha insisting that veer was impotent, but the secret medicines had cured him, so the medical report could not show his impotence 🤣🤣

Not only Ichcha, years later even Gunwanti was also mixing medicine for (selective) memory loss in Veer's milk. Who knows, we get to see all these in BV?

Giving medicine without patient's knowledge is SO UNETHICAL. This doctor should be stripped of her degree immediately. She is making Shekhers commit a crime. 😡 I have never come across any doctor in my profession who does what this female doctor is trying to do...Counselling + some medication is all Saachi needs...no matter how a patient dislikes the idea of counselling, it is the duty of the doctor to make the patient realize the need of counselling and therapy...
CV's are promoting wrong message here.

She didnt have to meet her. Saanchi was fighting with choti maa upstairs and her voice carried all the way to the living room downstairs 😆😆😆. It was easy to diagnose her without even meeting her.

But that was different. Gunwanti was doing it of her own accord and the medicine she was getting from some fraud quack who used to boil potions somewhere in a dark basement.

Here the doctor - a qualified psychiatrist is recommending this as a professional opinion - and the shekhars have no vested interest in giving saanchi the medicine.
