Congratulations on Thread #4! May you have many many more threads to come! I'll be back to leave my comment soon! π³
---Edited--- (My soon turned out to be 11 days later! You do know the reason, don't you? The past week had been hectic and the weekend even worse! Sorry!) Not at all happy! π
Now that I am here, here are my thoughts:
Loved this chapter as a fresh beginning to a newer phase of life! And to top it all of, there were the three of them together! Missed their camaraderie in their absence, and in my absence too!
Yes, they've evolved but three years is not long enough to completely wipe away a person's memory. Who am I kidding? Sometimes, certain incidences are impossible to wipe away. They last for a lifetime, subconsciously. And all it requires is a trigger and all the memories come rushing to the fore. "We can throw stones, complain about them, stumble on them, climb over them, or build with them." But life does go on.
PalPal is surely a starchy, stick-in-the-mud, no-nonsense type of girl and I am enjoying her annoyance! The first half of the chapter gave away much about how contrasting characters there were and certain strikingly similar ones that bound them to each other, despite their levels of contrast. Their dressing styles were also different! I guess that is where the fun part about friendship is - a cocktail of different flavors! Har ek friend zaroori hotha hai! *Refer the Airtel ad!*
Sad, we didn't get a coffee with Sanjeev wala session! It is amusing how a fangirl such as Khushi could politely brush off her sole hero of dreams, that too when the hero seemed clearly interested in her! But yes, this does reveal how much she yearned for Arnav and how much she missed him!
Talk about swooning and fainting and stammering and going numb! π None of that happened!
*sigh* The bittersweet memories - the walk, the kiss under the laburnum tree, a promise of friendship and even more with a dairy milk bar! *sigh* You didn't tell me Dairy Milk came in two different flavors - Sweet and Bitter!
Arnav is back in India?! I do not know what to feel! But yes, truth hurts. Even taking an autograph from Sanjeev or a coffee with him wouldn't hurt as much! π
Bring it on Sandhya Di! The sun is burning bright and the rays of the noon are enough to gush through the curtains and lighten up the room a tone higher!
