i know what ur saying and that is what usually keeps my hesitant in watching some dramas because ppl already say that it doesn't end well or the current track seems as if it wasn't going to end well
coffee prince...somewhat, scent of a woman, greatest love, princess man but i think the drama that really gave me such a cheesy smile on my face and never have to watch it over to really relive the moment was sungkyunkwan scandal. idk but they way they were able to solve everything, everything came to light and the leads got their ending but also the second lead was able to fall in love with another girl although he didn't get the main girl and although i kind of wish he did really set the mood for.
princess man...that drama i would say if only the guy didn't survive because he killed so many ppl SO MANY even a freaking little kid!!! i get what they were saying that although he lost his son (who was his heir) and his other daughter that he loved more than life itself to the man whose father he killed still didn't sit right. that i guess you can reason that he suffered because he never had a normal night sleep of all the ppl he harmed has haunted him and he is dying of disease and etc...but still whatever.
i would also say a taste of honey which is the english translation of a japanese show had one of the perfect ending where everything got resolved where the bad ppl got punish and it was just a nice ending overall.
for taiwanese dramas i would say the rose, devil beside you, and down with love had that happy filled ending as well.
