Nafisa Kazi :
My Renditions on Tonight's Episode of Madhubala...

Let me put tonight's episode of MB in a nutshell and give it a title : "Learning The Things The Hard Way"...

Well the lines says it all that it was all about RK experiencing the consequences of his stubbornness and not accepting the practical options in the given circumstances...

It had to happen this way, especially for someone who cannot or doesn't think of anybody beyond oneself, do reach a threshold where they have to eat their own words...

Naturally for RK, all that transpires due to his being in denial mode, was indeed like a "rude awakening"...

Amidst all the pain's galore, Siki's comical lamentations came as a relief...

Loved the part where RK voices Madhu's expected reaction and was glad that none of it was forthcoming...instead the Madhu without uttering a word of remonstrance just offers him solace and comfort and let him weep his heart out was a beautifully executed sequence...

It will be interesting to see how RK comes to terms with the reality of the "tight corners" that he has been thrown into and accepts the only practical option open to them...

bidding adieu with a song "Tomorrow" by the group "Europe" :

"Walk by my side, and follow my dreams
And bear with my pride, as strong as it seems
Will you be there tomorrow"

agree Nafisa, there were a lot of "practical alternatives" available but to prove it to himself and to prove it to the world that RK is not useless, RK is not a parasite, RK is not finished, he will have to TRY..he will fall several times but instead of getting discouraged and giving up, he should keep trying till he succeeds...
i dunno why CV's r following this route..if they r showing this to make Madhu and RK fight against all odds, good enuf...if their motive is to make RK strong, good enuf..BUT if their motive is to show tht RK is facing these problems bec. of apshaguni Madhu, and he''ll get cured miraculously if Madhu leaves him, I'm ready with rotten eggs and tomatoes 🤢

Nice post Nafisa...
RK called this upon himself..I have no sympathy for him as he asked for it.. But I am disappointed in madhu as well..

If she can convince RK to make the movie heroine centric, she could have at least asked him once to do the scene while sitting..

Unconditional support is beyond massaging his arm, or giving him a shoulder to cry..
I am sorry but I have never seen madhu truly supporting RK.. She utters tall claims and big statements But all she does for him is taking dips in the ponds, trades herself to gangsters, lectures jobless directors, allows his wretched family to flourish in RK mansion to conspire against them.

At this point, the fight would have been if they complete the movie using body doubles..She is a stuntman's daughter after all.. She should know all this. Or at least try to think about a way to work this out
She should help RK rehearse his scenes, else she should stop annoying audience with I will, cure RK as if she is a physician.. the reality is that she never behaves like an educated woman..

The only time she used her brain was getting Sultan to party for her revenge. What does it say about her character?

I am sure by the end of this track when the TRPs dip even further, she will again cry buckets of tears wondering where she went wrong.. There is no coming back for this show now where the CVs don't have a grip on the story or perhaps no story to tell...
