I felt like crying today even before the episode ends, I was seeing it coming (what we saw in the precap), it was heartwrenching, I understand what Rk had to prove but he could have taken the easy way but then he wouldn't be Rk if he picked the easy way!!!

I hope he doesn't get deeply affected by the incident, I know Media people will blow the matter out of proportion as per rumors. The rumor of him falling at the feet of a junior artist was circulating since last weekend I guess. Now that the worse is about to pass, what will be Rk's reaction is what matters, I guess next if the chronological order of spoilers is right is Bittuji and Mehul insisting on Anamika centric track for the rest of the film...

I liked Rk's attitude in the whole episode, it would have been perfect if he could prove them wrong but alas the precap was a shock for him and for us too although we knew it was coming

I hope against hope everything gets sorted out very soon in a way which preserves Rk's image

By the way, I heard Rk will go missing if it's right, see the video I posted in the MAT

Sorry to offend anyone.. But I didn't feel bad for RK today.. I think he called it upon himself..
I understand that an egoistic man who lives for his ego wants to do the scene the way it was written, and wants to prove it to media.. But why not rehearse the scene,. Infact he came across as highly unprofessional to me.. Even seasoned actors like Khans and Bachchan Sr go crazy rehearsing their scenes with the sole motive of giving their best shot. So why can't RK rehearse the scene before doing it? And we have seen him doing lame rehearsals like when he broke madhu's phone after unwedding

what was he thinking.. For the first time I don't feel bad for him..

It reminds me when madhu wanted to fast while shooting.. He was upset at her for being unprofessional.. So why being a hypocrite now?

I am sorry but RK disappointed me by not practicing the scene especially when he knows he can't get up on his own. And that wretched wh**e is the one responsible for hurting his self esteem by getting that wheel chair.. Somebody throw her out.. I wish Radha and madhu lambast her later.. Even though I loved the way RK shut her up..

Also I am disappointed in madhu for not trying even once to ask RK to not ave the press or to do the scene as per changed script.. I understand she doesn't want to hurt his pride, but she knows RK would rather listen to her than listening to MC.. A single attempt.. But she just stood there as a bystander.. Dipali would have also tried to stop RK but why didn't madhu try atleast once??

@cardio
u r right but, then this was applicable if RK would have been in a calm state...after whatever pabbo did in the morning, he was furious and he desperately wanted to show off that he is normal...it was almost like he was trying to make himself believe in himself...he is broken already else he wudnt have cried...so basically fury and fear got better of him...

IMO i am annoyed with MC...he keeps on ranting 'main director hoon' how difficult was it for him to order 'strictly no media allowed on my sets' ? 😡 🤢
this good for nothing director! no wonder he is a flop 🤢

infact i am a little disappointed with madhu too...y didnt she try n talk to Rk just to calm him down a little...even bittuji tried to speak with Rk then, y cudnt madhu? 🤢

acceptance is first step to healing...;and this is madhu's job coz Rk is not in senses to think in a calm way 😭

@Hiya. As much as I dislike MC, I don't find him responsible for this.. RK indeed doesn't listen to anyone.. He was the one who invited media and a producer decides these things, not director.. He changed the scene to accommodate RK but RK is the one who became his own enemy.. I would not mind if he would have done a rehearsal and did fine in the rehearsal..
Amitabh bachchan has myasthenia gravis but he rehearses his scenes till they turn out perfect.. So I don't see why RK couldn't do it.. I am disappointed in him big time today.. Not even a single pang of compassion today..

Just like unwedding, RK is responsible for this mess, and yes madhu also failed in her duty to not let RK go against himself.. Just the way RK failed to stop her from taking that retarded dip in the pond..

As much as I love this couple, they do things which most normal couples would not do..

Even most indifferent husbands don't let their wives go out to temples at midnight ad even most detached wives would not let their husbands make a fool of themselves...

@bold - i already told u i agree it was rk's fault😆 but i was only trying to clear y it happened...fury and fear blinded his vision (so i am not disappointed with cv's for what they made rk do)

@rest - exactly! thats y i was more disappointed with madhu! how could she allow it? without even trying to speak! 🤢

Marking this as an episode I never want to to re-watch - even for DVD's stellar performances - right alongside the episode of unwedding, Madhu's heartbreak, the 'mein paagal hoo', and several exceptionally excruciating ones from the most recent previous track.

So far we have had 'RK emotionally unhinged', 'RK naajaayaz', 'RK jailed' and 'RK banned' as attempts to get mass-approval for Madhu's resultant decisions, but instead backfired against her each time, which may say something less than reassuring about the writers perception-gap with the mass-audience.
They have chosen to dispense with not only the male lead's capability but also the female lead's courage, preferring to have both mouth some resolute dialogues initially and then yield on every count.☢️
We now have the fifth attempt - 'RK paralyzed'.🥱

Hoping this won't truly turn into an extended deja vu, with one or two great episodes followed by several at the other end of the viewability spectrum showing one or both of the leads idiotically helpless.
Not really overwhelmingly enough interested in DVD's great acting (I do love it) to get depressed watching a daily entertainment-series.

Anyway, kudos to the CVs on hedging their bets by placing the precap-indicated depression-fest in the Saturday episode for tonight.

Both the Friday (8th Nov. 2013) and Saturday (9th Nov. 2013) episodes may get good viewing, with the attached hope that the viewed scenes are the nadir with ascendancy just beyond that.
TRP as a measure would indicate that the concept worked excellently the first time (after the unwedding), but just mediocre the second time (the most recent previous track).
But hope - the more thoroughly it's proven unfounded over an extended duration - is the harder to resurrect in strength the next time, especially for viewers with their option of not watching which has already resulted in a considerable chunk of lapsed viewership for the series.

This time, the CVs have marketed the hope that the paralysis is partial, mild and temporary.
So the reason to endure is the end of that paralysis, not whatever confounded sympathy-getting shenanigans are tried to use the misery and humiliation to get him further sidelined.
Basic concept - show someone down, then that's the person whose rise gets empathy.
One person falls, and another person rises - with however complex a manufactured scenario - then the empathy goes to the one who has fallen.
The CVs have managed to do a better job of getting mass-support-erosion for Madhu in successive tracks than if they had specifically been intent on doing so.
Sincerely hoping they don't repeat their proven results yet again this time, with the financially-needed mass-audience uncomfortingly contrary on far too many points with the more vocal but less numerous niche viewerships.

No series shows depression and defeat of the leads in every sub-plot through an entire track until the last few minutes. MEIEJ has.

Separation/estrangement and reconciliation are done in phases of less than four months, sometimes less than three months.
The key to the success of that stratagem is the reconciliation phase lasting for at least a few weeks - usually a few months - before the next estrangement of any variety.
Instead, MEIEJ has had the leads in every variety of estrangement, with not even a week of totally united and focussed reconciliation from both of the couple simultaneously at any point in between.
They have effectively managed a rather new phenomenon - they have turned estrangement into not the variety in conjugal stability, but rather conjugal stability in such brief and infrequent proportions that estrangement is the constant and thereby ironically the boring factor.
Estrangement - of one sort or the other - has been a stable and consistent factor in MEIEJ for eight months. Another separation, and even more audience may expect yet another third to emerge in either Madhu's or RK's life and cause a further anticipatory aversion, even if there were reassuring statements to the contrary.

And in this current situation, the writers may possibly remember their own story's characterization and events less well than the audience.

Madhu has frequently been shown insisting against RK's opinion in presence of others if she thinks it's for his good (though her judgement is not usually accurate).
So her keeping quiet and not insisting he stay at home for a couple of days so that he could stabilize, and instead supporting him in heading out the very next day after getting paralyzed was bewildering.
Trying not to hurt his feelings doesn't apply. It has never been a consideration for her when she feels something is necessary for him, even at the cost of his pride.
And she was capable of making him yield to Mehul's control with the whole crew to witness it.
So she could have insisted in front of that same crew that the press was not to be allowed.

And RK had insisted that Madhu not do a dancing-scene when her feet were merely injured (after that appalling rats-biting scene) and not even paralyzed.
So she could have reminded him of his being unable to see her strain herself, and insisted that he should also accept at least an adjustment - if not cancellation - of scene-shot for the same reason.

In all this, rather than any of the things which would show Madhu's supportive understanding as effective, they are having her stand ineffectively (that too against her own characterization) and let RK get insistently into worse situations, and then rush to offer solace.
Why? So that the help she will be shown having an opportunity to render then - by sidelining her husband and taking the centre herself - will showcase the CVs absolute lack of writing-finesse?

On the upside, they could not have made Mehul look more incompetent or less creatively capable as a director.
He keeps pushing his point against RK only when that serves his 'heroine-centric' chant.
On the things which would be to RK's detriment, he's quite content to offer token or less resistance - no repeated insistence, no "I'm the director".

So the theme of the clunky unbelievable majbooris which should supposedly inspire mass-audience with sympathy for the travails of the suddenly financially, professionally and physically helpless male lead continues - with its even more inexplicable adjunct that the resolution of the travails will be not his success but rather his wife's instead.😕 2 + 2 = anything but 4, in the CVs realm.
Unfortunately his extended jail-stint while his wife was getting terrorized and impruriently pursued outside may have severely eroded those reserves of sympathy for MEIEJ's unique variety of defeatist majbooris that are never overcome until the last few minutes of a track.

@kashish, agree with you..but I was disappointed with him to invite the media on sets..at this moment, he and everyone around him should keep a cool head..he must not lose confidence in himself but therz no need to show it to the world..he came across as more egoistic and foolish while doing it...however, agree with hiya also tht he was badly provoked by pabo and my only complaint is tht HE is giving a free pass to pabo..phir Radha ki kya galti hai?
nyhow, loved these moments..
the wheelchair scene
rk coming out frm the car, it was heart wrenching when I saw his twisted feet..
what disappointed me..
rk adamant to not change the script..there must be many scenes in which he has to sit or not move, many scenes in which there r solo shots of madhu, cant they shoot them first?
madhu asking everyone to convince rk, but not talking to him..
pabo dips drama..useless..pabo is sultan part2..

But in terms of clunk...why, kyun, kaiko??!! Why show this utter humiliation?? Do i even need to list out the clunks, there have been enough discussions on the rubbish being used to reach this stage, medical clunks, financial clunks, character clunks...uff.. the list is endless. I just hope they turn it around very soon. Nothing more to add because the precap was even worse. 🤢. One positive..VD's BRILLIANT portrayal today, the best part of the episode. 👏

sounds you too ? Lolzz as of now they haven't shown either rk's downfall or Madhu becoming a superstar...madhu will not become a star at the cost of rk's stardom..why spoil our mood over assumptions?
