Of course, my dear Vicki, I always read your 'gibberish', but it seems to be a one way street of late! Never mind, I will check my inbox tomorrow.

In this one, I liked the paras about Jalal and Ruqaiya the best. Next, the signing off one about Sharifuddin. I agree with you on both.

I do not know, but both there and after the garden-payal scene, I did get the feeling that Jalal is not in love, but is flirting very hard with both of them. With Ruqaiya, he was clearly trying to make her jealous, but why? It looked like trophy hunting, not the sort of thing one does with a friend of very long standing.

And with Jodha too, he was rushing her, and hard. Look at it this way. It is always charming to see a lover fasten a payal to his beloved's ankle (hopefully a shapely one, and no cracked heels to scratch his fingers either😉),but an emperor does not kneel at a woman's feet to fasten her payal. That too in full public view. It would not be at all in accord with his shaan, his rutba.

That Rajat managed to avoid making Jalal look foolish even on his knees, dangling the payal from his fingers and grinning crookedly up at Jodha was an achievement in itself. He needed to tell her that he had her other payal, of course, but that could have been done while handing it back.

It just looked forced to me, to be going too fast for comfort, and thus not really convincing from his side.It was all convincing enough from hers.

Lastly, since it seems to be galloping along at such a good pace, the Jalal-Jodha romance, I cannot see how many more such tentative scenes can be fitted in before the CVs hand out the LOVE HAS ARRIVED AT LONG LAST placard. And then what? I cannot see this going on for even 250 episodes if the love story gets to its logical conclusion so quickly.

frankly , i don't think Ruku is wrong. ya, if she plays with other's lives, she is at fault. But he being insecure and jealous abt others is human nature. Let her do all show-offs of being Begum-E-Khas, all that facade abt being indifferent to other women in her husband's life, we can't ignore the fact that she is afterall a human being. Just like we can see that Jalal craves for true love, even Ruku also does. basically she loves Jalal as a wife does, and she knows it. But then Jalal up till date has been with other women only for satisfying his physical needs, not spending more time than that. certainly not entertaining them. But with Jodha, the equation is changing, and Ruku is aware of that. she knows Jalal will never love her coz he takes her for granted for everything. and so she knows that if he can love anybody , then the person will be different from others. and that's Jodha. so she keeps trying hard to create the same impact on her like she has done with other women, but fails miserably.

her fears r not just to lose Jalal to Jodha, but that even losing her position as chief queen. coz she knows that if she loses both, then she will be just like a furniture in a room. so i think she is right in her place. one more thing, she knows how Jalal plays with others, even she to plays even with him. Just that she was not expecting him to play with her . but now she knows he is playing with her, she doesn't like it.

and this is what Jalal feels is nature of women he doesn't understand. He knows Ruku takes him for granted, she spies on him, plays with others, but when he does the same with her, she doesn't accept it. same with Jodha. she puts her conditions, she leads her own life, but when he does the same , she doesn't like it. buth this is his POV. he can't see in other way. while both Ruku and Jodha r honest with him in their own ways, still there r few aspects in his life that make them suspect him. For Jodha it's their different religions and the worst politics (she has witnessed from MA, AK and shareef) and Jalal's blind faith in them. For Ruku it's so many woman in his life with certain position or without position. He doesn't understand it and so keeps with his games, which make them even more insecure which makes them behave the way they do.

So i ll say even Jalal is not entirely at fault. It's what he has seen all his life. He can't trust anybody, coz he has seen his very close ones breaking his trust. He knows they play with him so he does the same. He knows he has enemies in his own ppl, so he tries to keep check on them. he keeps shying away from the ppl so that no one can break his heart , which he keeps saying she doesn't have. so it's his insecurities from his experiences that makes him the way he is. so even he is not to blame.

rest abt Jodha, we have written so many things abt her till date. basically she had lives a very protected life till her marriage, and i think women (daughters here) from that era, specially royals , were kept away from politics. so her being naive to all this is ok. but now she is trying to understand him in a diff way, rather a more humanly way : be it as a king, a husband, a human. and so she can see his different sides : a ruthless and intelligent emperor with that "I m above all and perfect all the time attitude", a husband who wants to SHARE his life and a human who respects other's space where necessary. she is opening to him and so is he. Let's hope, they can continue this new journey with the same way they have found recently

JJ garden scene was good with Payal flashback..Jodha looked beautiful with open hair.. Rahim, JJ will make a lovely family, want to see jodha telling story to rahim with Jalaal seeing her, just like ameer reverse...

I think Jalaal is craving for love, wants to love him as himself not his power or Shahansha... Before jodha came, Jalaal wanted that from Ruku, but Ruku is more interested in power and Hareem. Even though they are good friends, share everything, Ruku didn't removed the loneliness he has in his heart from his childhood.. After Jodha he is expecting that from her, as Ruku doesn't bother about him.

Yesterday he said deliberately, he went & spend time with Jodha, he wanted to see Ruku admit that she is jealous as a wife or as a friend. But she just told him, she is angry because he didn't came and she waited for him..

I think when Jalaal falls in love with Jodha,. Ruku will try everything to spend Jalaal with her, but she will notice, he is with him, but think of Jodha only. Ruku will miss the friend and husband Jalaal when though she has power. Now she realise she want Jalaal not power, but before she could say anything Jalaal may tell her he is madly in love with Jodha.. She will even though heart brroken will accept jodha wholeheartedly...

I think fake pregnancy track is better than fake love.. It will kill the essence of true love..I think either Ruku to seperate JJ or Hamida to make them realise trust is still missing in their relation. I don't think Shariff would have known about that night... Only JJ and Ruku, Hamida may be from Moti..
