For me this was one of the best scenes. Barun's acting was just awesome. Absolutely loved the scene in the end where the camera focuses on his face for more than a 1 minute with that BG music. His eyes conveyed so many feelings, pain, guilt, love, frustration.👏

Ritu Maha epi 124 and 125 ,

What are you doing this to me ...reminding me the most important moment of Arnav's life when 1st time he felt tug in his heart and fear for losing his Khushi. This was the 1st step later running after the Ambulance he will spit these words again but with severe intensity and finally at the top of the cliff main tumhare bina...

He completes his Fadak Padta hai later but she knows exactly and connects those dots later ...

Love here what you said..

How could she do this to him... How could she do it to herself...He knew she felt something for him...he knew that he mattered to her... he was the one that made her heart go fast..he knew he impacted her...she was attracted to him... her feelings were also there on diwali night...as she didnt run away...She was in that moment with him...He witnessed her heartbreak ruthlessly but it did break him into pieces...but he knew that there was something between them..something still left behind...then how can she move on.

That was bothering him and then he made her life hell to accept it.

This is a realization moment for Khushi for the first time that she is ENGAGED'...When Arnav puts the ring half way through her finger,Shyam's hand comes in her mind and by yanking her hand and by lowering her eyes...',"aap yeh Anghoothi nahi pehna sakte''...[you can't put me on this ring] and the very next moment she looks at him with her deepest caustic way in her hollow voice ...'..."yeh humari sagai ki angoothi hai"[This is my engagement ring]''...

The moment gets glaciates with the piercing pain with those hollow words of Khushi and in return it benumbs and desensitizes him and his gesture "Kya yeh saach hai"[is it true?] without WORDS and she confirms it.She lowers her gazes as she can't bear his pain anymore.but he couldn't take his eyes off ...'The excruciating pain and the numbness of the brain paralyzes the Mighty ASR whose hands never miss any target yet lose the grip on the ring .

Later Arnav in rage and bafflement,"tumhari sagai ho gyae,..kaise'tum ne mujhe batana zaroori nahi samjha..Kissi ko pata kyuon nahinn hai"[you got engaged'how'you didn't even bother to tell me]hmmm. Why she supposed to tell you she meant nothing ,girls like her have purpose behind everything'not a single girl matters to ASR then WHY?

Khushi in quizzical mode,"aap ko iss se kya fadak padta hai"[why does it matter to you?]

Arnav grabbing her fiercefully,"Mujhe iss se fadak padta hai Dammit' kyuonke'.[it matters to me because.]His ego and fear stops him completing his sentence'.he just keeps starring at her with agonizing eyes'.which are delivering his message which he can't verbalize'..

Khushi also remembers this before her dream and after Arnav's 1st confession "I love you"'which he supposed to finish here'..

Thank You for sharing this beautiful epi...

lovely post! this scene was another amazing part of arnav and khushi's love story - where they again said i love u but only with their eyes, their actions and reactions, not with their words. farak padhta hai kyun ki ... i so wanted arnav to finish that sentence, it was all there for khushi to see if she'd just looked closely enuff. it was a beautifully crafted moment and i love where the actors took it, totally sublime! ❤️

Beautiful post. This is one of my favourite episodes. It was a very interesting track, the only mistake being that although Arnav ko itna faraq padta tha, they never made him want to seek out who Khushi's fiance was. Any other person in this situation would want to know who their love is engaged to, but the writers somehow detracked from here. The intensity in those days was great to watch when Arnav was feeling jealous and wanted to make Khushi realise that he too meant something to her. but then the writers dissolved this track without any outcome.
All in all a beautiful scene that I can rewatch countless times.

thanks for sharing your thoughts dear...quite interesting point you raised..I think at that time of story...even Arnav didnt knew what exactly he wants...it mattered to him..that she was engaged...but what more was heartbreaking for him was the thought that she could easily move on and accept new life partner in her life...it was the track where when it mattered to Arnav...why didnt it matter for her...was his only concern...thus he tries hard for her to realise that she cant move on ..and we had all faraq padta hain sequences in there...where he deliberately wants her to plan his engagement... but finally when she breaks down...he realises that he is goin too far ..n he decides to let her go..n not hurt her...
i too feel though some tracks in the story were changed abruptly ..and more so due to audience demands at time...😊

One of the best " Arnav dominating ASR" scene..
The shock, fear of loosing her followed by pain, anger, helplessness and frustration was so evident..kudos to the writer, director n actors.
Still remember barun saying that the director has shot it from 17 angles 😆

As always beautifully penned down darling 🤗 👏
"Don't u ever "think to stop making such magical posts.. 'samjhi tum'
I love them dammit ( did not need to quote this very famous confession) 🤗
