I have an idea for a weekly thread, but I'm not sure if it will work.
I've been thinking, what if we set up a time (a time that will work for most people) once a week to watch a movie together. We would select the film with a poll before. And then we would set up a day of the week and a time. Everyone starts watching the film at that time and we have a thread on it to discuss the film as we're watching. We can make fun of scenes, talk about the story, etc. Kind of like a virtual theatre or sleep-over.
Would anyone be interested in participating in something like this?
I think it would be fun but I don't know how others feel.
If it worked, we could do it for a different film every week.The film wouldn't have to be new, it could be a classic like Hera Pheri, DDLJ, etc.
As for the time, we can select a time that will work for most despite different time zones. And we will specify the time zone.
What do you folks think?
Do you think it will be fun/boring, will it work/not work. Let me know your opinion.
