I'm optimistic about the IITians but not so optimistic about the public. Obviously the IITians will give a realistic picture and not an inflated one like those politicians, what is to be seen is whether the general mass buys it or not.

Current politics is about wide spectru, of people and people tend to be illogical..Like people electing Manmohan singh and mulayam singh at the same time so I think educated guys cant run for politics either without being worn out or giving up....but if you have around 500 educated folks in the parliament that would be differnt story.....it means all educated folks should take up all the seats...

Yeah!! The general mass vote for the people who give more incentives to then at the time of elections!! This is sad but true, even at local elections mass does'nt vote for free, they need to be bribed by something or the other. If questioned they say "We don't see those buggers after elections, this is the only time we need to catch them and use their wealth".Mass is also true!!

I feel IITians /Educated youth should first gain the confidence of the mass and all of us by doing good social service after some time then they should get into active politics!!

yeah well said !!! In the current scenario Educated people in Indian Politics is just an utopian concept😭!!!!

Yesterday I was watching a telugu movie called "Godavari" in that hero from a good Indian town, who has done his M.S in US.He wishes to serve people by joining in active politics, when he goes to the Primary Political party office he is posed the following questions:

  1. Do you know accumulating people?
  2. Can you shout loudly?
  3. Do you know organising bandh and dharna?
  4. Do you know collecting funds for the party?

The hero says "NO" to all the questions then that person asks

Are you a fool!! Why are you wasting your time here!!! Ok!!As a last option "How much money are you giving to the party !!! 2 or 3 crores!!"The hero puts face.!!

This is the realistic state of Indian Politics!! Even we try to get into politics however we may get "Rangdebasanthi" film ending as the result😕

Wishes,

Mythili
