In my post yesterday I mentioned that Jalal clearing the doubt about the ratri will free Jodha from all the ghrina she has been trying to hold on to. That was the last thing she was holding on to not take a step towards Jalal. How well Jalal understood that telling her the truth would be a turning point for Jodha. All the good acts Jalal has been doing in Amer will now sink in and Jodha will only see the real Jalal with full of good qualities. I love motibai and Jodha's relationship, full credit to Jodha for that. She treats moti like a friend always even though she is just a dasi. It was so cute the way Moti teases Jodha and she tries hard to dunk all of the dialogs clearly pointing that her heart is changing. Jodha even Salima begum, who is the most stable person in Agra thinks that you are being meharban to Jalal. Never has anyone in Agra or Amer seen you be this meharban, hence buddy I asked my Jalal to pinch me to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
Moti a huge hug to you for pointing to Jodha that its his right to be with his begum. Jodha did me proud by admitting that its her ego that will not give him the permission to touch. Finally Jodha feels that Jalal cannot be that bad if he has kept the promise of not touching her. BTW, I started a thread about no physical relation ship promise and apparently most of the forum agrees that promise was never made. I hope this talk about ratri vyatit karna will stop for ever, although I feel it will be started again by Hamida. More on this in precap..
I was kind of mad at Jodha when she goes to thank Hamida. Come on Jodha, you need to thank Jalal as well. She proved me wrong by having a whole different way of thanking Jalal. Hamida makes it very clear to Jodha that Jalal will always be on her side and that he keeps his promises. Even when she is not around Jalal will be there to support her. Jodha was surprised but somewhere deep down she already knows that it is true. She is finding it slightly hard to accept all this reality because her fictitious Jalal hate world broke completely sometime back. Jalal is happy that Jodha is waiting for him and he guesses right that she must have cooked the food as well. Jodha does not get annoyed by his comment on khana being tikha like her tewar, instead calmly says try it and then talk. Hamida has been waiting for Salim, her grandson for ages. Finally she saw the hope and immediately requests everyone to leave them alone. How cute was that, can't imagine any other MIL do that. Jodha is one lucky girl for sure, full support from husband and MIL! Jalal insists on eating in the same plate even if its a different kind of food. Jodha was ready for some small steps, but isn't ready for full on pyaar like Moti had said about eating in one plate. She hesitates, but agrees to this demand of Jalal. Its so nice that MA is out for few days, now only Ruqu can stop the romance between the two. But, why worry we have Hamida who will keep pushing the two till they accept their inner feelings.
Jalal seemed so different in this khana scene, more like in love! He was not a bit teasing or flirty here. It was cute that he was ready to eat whatever Jodha eats just so that he could share the plate with her. All signs on a man fully in love! I would have like it though if he insisted that she try some of his food. Pyaar pe kiska zor chalta hai? He does not even let her try the food as he trusts her completely. She starts to thank him and he immediately accepts it. He likes her food and wishes that he could eat the food cooked by her everyday. I wonder if Jodha will oblige, surprise me more Jodha - please! He reaffirms his ammijaan's statement of standing by her always. Jodha is truly touched by this gesture.
The man in love calls his begum beautiful while Jodha calls the moon that. The begum does not realize who is Jalal calling beautiful, if only you questioned him about it. You miss too many golden chances of catching Jalal and teasing him about it Jodha. She does tease him though about how he praises her by imitating his Jalal style. Jalal I doubt if ever had this kind of relationship with anyone. I wonder if anyone has teased him in this way and made him laugh. He admits that Jodha is right in pointing the words and styles that he would have responded with. They both continue to enjoy the peace in nature by admiring the moon. Only this has caused bhookump and ashanti in Ruqu's world. How foolish is she to still think that cooking food, entertaining him in the night are all dasis job. No wonder MA was right in pointing out that Ruqu could never become Jalal's begum and hence Jalal always finds himself alone.
Precap: I think Hamida begum's test is to see how much Jodha trusts Jalal. Hamida is going to ask her to spend the night in Jalal's khema or allow him to come to her khema. Jodha continues to give brownie points to Jalal for not touching her in the night. I tell you Jodha you are too obsessed about the ratri vyatit thing, wonder what is the real reason behind it. Do you want the ratri vyatit to happen now?? wink!
