Dear Mandy,

We perfectly understand your situation and you really must have reasons for not able to continue.

Writing is not an easy thing and writing somethings like this is much more difficult.

It is even more difficult when you have other priorities in life.

Most of the times updating an emotional update is surely bound to drain you.

With so many characters and many pairs, we can understand how difficult it must be to weave the story into tracks and connecting everyone of them.

So we very well understand your state.

However can I request one thing. Can you please write a short update on what actually happened in the past - What made Abhayendra leave the place along with his wife. Need not be a detailed one, but something in brief.

If course it is not to write it down immediately. It is only if you have thought of it already and most important, only if you feel like writing it.

But we all will be very happy if you could consider this request.

Harini I know most of my readers must be feeling bad But lately I am not getting the time to write at all and say I do write, I am really not happy with what I have written. Worst part is when you spend a lot of time writing one update, you would atleast hope if not good then its not bad either. But after trying to write an update for months when you realise the outcome is a plain disaster you give up or you tend to especially when you don't have time at all.

As for Covenant I saw the date it was last updated and it was more than a year back. More than me weaving the story its about the readers here. The story has too many characters and to remember every single detail is tough and the story was pretty intricate in that sense. Such stories need to be updated frequently so that readers can connect to it. For ex - Poco's FF (By no means am I comparing myself to Poco So please dont get offended. Just an example) had many characters and she updated almost regularly and in that way readers could still connect to other characters besides Abhiya. But here I am updating in once a year? 😕 Though 13 or so chapters were over, the story had barely started. This was my first piece of writing and u have no idea how I felt when I requested GM to close it

Well I can defo reveal what was supposed happen but as a reader would you want to just read the gist of an incomplete story? I know I have discontinued it but as a writer I would feel I have done injustice to my story by doing that. I hope you understand me here.

I had a thought that when I get back to writing I shall write Abhiya short stories on tracks that I had planned out for other couples. But if u guys really want to read Covenant then I can do one thing - It will be on hold till I finish atleast two of my FFs - Guardian and Renegade Angel. And maybe when I just have one FF on my hand I can focus just on that and finish it off? Coz if I write Covenant I want to be able to update regularly and its simply not possible with the lil time I have and many ongoing FFs. I started writing mini SS cum OS that consumed all the lil amount of free time I got and in between I got many ideas for short stories. Thats the reason I kept my old on going works on hold. If u guys can wait I can do that.

Dear Mandy,

I perfectly understand your situation.

I happened to watch the movie "The Covenant" which is about the four Sons of Ipswich. (This was also shown in Star One's Shhh Phir koyi hai - Amrauli ke darinde) In the movie, it self they could not show much for the other three brothers and here you created a story involving all the four brothers and also a very proper introduction for not only the four brothers but also the fifth one. This is much much more elevated concept. I was simply astounded when you started off this one and every update giving equal footage to every one and also the oscillation between the past and the present. (You simply cant imagine the big smile on my face at the Jason Curtis and Paige Taylor wala hospital scene which you mentioned in this update. One of my favourite scenes both in the original book and in this one)

I was really wondering how you could really manage this.

So when you say it is difficult, I perfectly understand.

Regarding your question, if as a reader , if I would just want the gist of an incomplete story, Ofcourse not. But then the gist is definetely better than not having anything at all :D. We would all want to know atleast what this was about in the past.

It is a very nice idea of yours to write SS instead of continuing this as FF. But ofcourse I can understand your wanting to do justice to the other two FFs as well. Plus you have other priorities in life.

So please do update at your convenience. We would be more than happy to have your SS/ OS.

You are a very good writer Mandy. You are very unique in your works. So the question of comparison does not arise dear.

I also take this as an opportunity, to all the wonderful works you gave us.

Harini I donno what to say except that I am overwhelmed 😳 Thanks a lot for liking my works. I am not sure about being unique since there are many others here who are tons better than me. I will restart Covenant once Guardian and Renegade Angel are over 😳 And thank you for being my reader 🤗

Dear Mandy, You are definitely unique. And you are really not doing justice to yourself when you say you are no better than others. Believe me it is not so and you are really, really a very good writer.

It is not easy to capture the interest of the readers. With so many plots running in my mind and when I see that I am not able bring myself in penning them down, I can see the great job you have accomplished.

Even if you are sometimes late in updating, people are really very eager for your updates. Its worth all the waiting. That speaks. Doesnt it?

Yes, you can start once you are satisfied with your other works.

And coming to your thanking me for reading your works, shouldn't it be the other way around. I should be the one to thank you for all the delight to provide by way of your works.

Thank you very much Mandy. I really love your OS/SS. If you feel like penning your thoughts into stories, may be you can write them as OS/SS. I would love to read anything about Abhiya as long as they end up together and would definitely look forward to read your works.
