Aamna Shariff and Rajeev Khandelwal The off-and-on relationship between television's most charismatic couple Rajeev Khandelwal has now come to a flash-point. After staying apart for several months, the couple is back together. Says Rajeev, "Aamna and I are performing together at an award function on March 10 at the Andheri Sports Complex. It's a special event for us. People wanted us back together, so here we are(haan special to hoga hi aamna ke saath time spent karney ka mauka mila hai hehe rehersal 😉) In fact we went live on a news channel on Valentine's Day answering people's questions(hehe i loved that VD special that was a long come back of jodi) We were invited as Television's 'Most Desirable Couple' (true u both r desirable ).We met after a long time on Valentine's Day. But happily, our fans didn't seem to know of our longish estrangement."(hehe jhooth bolna buri baat hai😉 hehe ammna ne galti se bola tha ki tum uskey 1 din pheley bhi miley😛 thai aur waiey bhi aamna came back from singapore on 5 feb so agar aap dono miley nahi to aamna ne jacket jo valentine day par u wear kaha se diya 😉😉ab if u r saying few hour aur day as a long time to it k 😳😳) Rajeev and Aamna will now perform together. Rajeev adds, "I'll be performing for about 14-15 minutes on stage. Aamna will be with me for five minutes( galat baat yaar u both should be there for whole 14 15 min but atleast aamna will come really happy ). I know people want both of us together. But whether we want to be together in real life would depend on our destiny. (lo ab u r going to destiny hmmmm but we jodi fan will pray that ur both destiny bring u 2 together ) We've been very sensible about keeping our screen images and personal rapport apart. That's why our friendship has survived for four years."(true u both r made for each other and dosti pyaar ka 1tep hai) Rajeev has avoided attending television awards in recent months. In fact, the organisers wanted him to dance with another popular TV actress Shveta Salve(hehe sahi hai rajeev this show ki u only want aamna to be there for u kisi aur ke saath u cant give real life chemistry ). But finally, the person sharing the stage with Rajeev is Aamna.(the final result is only aamna) So what keeps Rajeev and Aamna from taking the plunge? Says Rajeev, "We're two different individuals. The quality that I look for in my soulmate is comfort level. I'm too selfish and self-obsessed to look for a reflection of myself in my woman. I'd rather have someone who has qualities other than those that I possess.(haan so aamna fit in all those quality so she can be ur solumate ) But right now the thought of marriage doesn't excite me. I want to first enjoy those years of youth that I lost in struggling for a foothold. At present, I'm really excited by being on stage with Aamna. (hehe pata hai pata hai 😉)The set has been done by Oomang Kumar. Ironically my performance is being directed by my namesake Rajeev Khandelwal who packages shows for Ekta Kapoor. Let's hope I create a dhoom (ab rajeev aur aamna aa rahey hai to dhoom to hogi hi )on Saturday."
