Nazriya is not comfortable exposing.its each person's comfort level. So v cant blame her if she wanted d glamour scene 2 b deleted. But Nayantara says that film industry needs glamour,so Nazriya shud'nt hav made fuss about it.What's wrong in deciding not 2 expose?Y can't actresses act without exposing?

(Nayanthara )

Two weeks ago, just before the release of her film Naiyaandi, the film's lead actress Nazriya Nazim took to Facebook to slam the makers of the Tamil film. She accused director Sarkunam of using a body double to shoot an intimate scene without her permission, and was specifically unhappy with a scene in which Dhanush touches the heroine's navel. In fact, Nazriya met Chennai Commissioner and filed a complaint against the producer-director of Naiyaandi, after which the movie bosses resolved the issue and screened the movie for her.

Now, Super heroine Nayanthara, who worked with Nazriya in Raja Rani, has reportedly lashed out at her and said that people who are part of the film industry should not make an issue of such silly things as even A-list actresses show skin and do item numbers nowadays.

I guess it's matter of perspective. Though Nazriya was right she could have handled it better. Nayantara has retaliated because of the ruckus the issue has sprung on them. It's bad publicity for a newcomer. There are always better ways to handle such issues without blowing the whistle.

Nazriya was not wrong from her perspective but, like Naksthatra said, this could've been handled better by her. And Nayanthara's not wrong either. Stuff like this can totally finish off someone's career, especially a newcomer's.

Nayantara says that if actresses r not willing 2 do glamour they shud'nt come 2 this field. It's completely wrong.Without skin show also actresses shud b able 2 exist.Bcz of skin show only actresses hav bad reputation in the industry. Its better 2 hav no career than to expose n earn a bad name in d society.i'm a big fan of nayantara.she is beautiful n good at acting.but most of d ppl remember her only 4 her skin show, that's pathetic.but if she had'nt done skin show earlier she wud've been known 4 her talent.

^That's debatable. But I disagree that actresses have a bad name because of skin show. IMO, a good actress is one who can do a glamorous role with the same ease as doing a homely role. It all comes down to how far you want to go as an actress. If you really want to be recognized and stand out from the rest and reach the top spot, then too many restrictions will definitely not help you at all. Of course, you can always place limits on the amount of exposure. That depends on how comfortable you are.

Look at Bollywood, even an actress like Vidya Balan had to do The Dirty Picture to get the recognition she has now. Obviously, Tamil cinema doesn't place as much emphasis on the glamour quotient as Bollywood does. However, we're in an age where even the actors are required to expose. End of the day, it's a male-dominated industry and actresses are still considered somewhat secondary to the actors.

but there r many actresses who succeeded in modern characters without exposing too much.Vidya Balan is d only bollywood actress who exposes only if d character demands. Otherwise even 4 public functions she doesnt wear revealing clothes like all other actresses who do skin show just 2 add glamour 2 d film n songs

^I'm not saying you have to expose too much 😆 It depends on how much you're willing to. True that VB only exposed when it was needed. But the current hype she has around her is only due to the fact that TDP happened.
