Indian soapbuffs simply love their daily dose of romance. So what if the telly mush moments are oh-so predictable and comprise the same cliches, girls with swirling dupattas, falling in the arms of the beloved and staying there for some time while stealing coy glances continue to make viewers go weak-kneed. Special soundtracks, preferably a Bollywoodchartbuster amps up the magical moment. Here's a dekko at some new onscreen couples who have a mint-fresh presence, some interesting chemistry and might just make the cut.

Onscreen: Aditya (Arjun Bijlani) & Suhani (Shweta Gulati)
Show: Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar
Which woman doesn't like men who can cook! This one's totally a fresh take on urban relationships on small screen, and sees the just-married Arjun Bijlani making a comeback on TV. The cute Shweta Gulati as a bubbly wife and the dimpled hottie Arjun will be seen rekindling their romance in the kitchen after a day's work, also showing off their culinary skills. While their chemistry has already been established in the promos, the couple look promising as the new hot jodi.

Onscreen: Saanchi (Sangeeta Ghosh) & Dhruv (Ruslaan Mumtaz)
Show: Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara
Bollywood's newbie actor Ruslaan makes an impressive telly debut as the fun-loving lawyer (Dhruv) who falls in love with an independent working woman Saanchi (played by Sangeeta Ghosh in her comeback vehicle after a six year hiatus). And this younger man-older woman romance has its share of dramatic twists and turns, with some coy eyelocks and intense hugs thrown in.

Onscreen: Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) & Jalal (Rajat Tokas)
Show: Jodha Akbar
Rajat Tokas has the uncanny ability to create awesome screen vibes with all his leading ladies, and once again in all his regalia, he's a scene stealer. As Jodha and Akbar, Rajat and Paridhi share an amazing chemistry and have made the show a channel leader.

Onscreen: Antara (Nikita Sharma) & Raghu (Ayaz Ahmed)
Reality TV find Ayaz) and Antara (Nikita Sharma) might have had a slow start, but their chemistry's sizzling! A steamy lip lock scene which created a buzz online, and a scorching love-making scene will take their screen vibes to a new high, hopefully.

Show: Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Ek Baar Phir
Middle class Aastha (Shrenu Parikh) and the super rich biz tycoon Shlok (Avinash Sachdev), the unlikely twosome are crazily in love, after a filmi confession scene. Okay, for the cute couple to even match up to the sizzling chemistry of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani (in the first season of IPKKND) is next to impossible, but they're making up for it with similar sequences - the hero catching the 'falling' heroine, the familiar eyelocks.

Even married couples are allowed to have some fun! The ideal bahu Kittu (Esha Kansara) and her stiff upper-lip corporate wiz hubby Anand (Vipul Gupta) manage to steal some cosy moments despite their involvement with their always in trouble families' daily routine.
