Big B, Mithunda in Antakshari!

Titan Antakshari (Zee TV) has completed shooting a special episode for visually challenged children last week – 27 February. Amitabh Bachchan and Mithun Chakravarthy were the star attractions at the event. Apart from them, the team of Shakalaka Boom Boom was also present during the shoot including Celina Jetley, Upen Patel, Koena Mitra and director Suneel Darshan.

Sunil Pal, host of Antakshari says, "It was mind-blowing experience to meet the Big B. We were shooting for four days for the episode and even though he came only for one hour, it was a really memorable day for me."

Pal, who is a big fan of Amitabh, told him that he was really nervous about meeting the superstar but Amitabh told him that even he was anxious about shooting for the show.

"Amitabh hugged each and every contestant and us as well", revealed Pal.

When asked what Amitabh did on the show, Pal said, "He rehearsed for 10 minutes and completed shooting within 15 minutes in which he recited the poem "Main Prakash Hoon" by Khalid Hashmi. He also sung his favorite song "Neela Aasman So Gaya."

Pal also had a great time shooting with Mithun Chakravarthy. "I came to Mumbai in 1995 just to see him. I used to stand in front of his house hoping that he'll come out and I'll see him. But finally because of Antakshari I got this opportunity of meeting him", reveals Pal.

Later, two visually challenged girls, Mansi and Mamta, came forward to present a letter written by them for "Amitabh Uncle." The letter had a very special message for Mr. Bachchan and his ill mother. They wished a speedy recovery for Mrs. Teji Bachchan who has been ill for a while. Mr. Bachchan was extremely touched by the feelings of those children and hugged them.

While leaving, Mr. Bachchan gave his best wishes and cheered the participants.
