First of all...NO FAIR!!!! I got no PM on this... no @#@$ing way of knowing you started a new story... would have completely missed it if I didn't just happen to see your status when on my dashboard !

OK, now for the prologue... too many questions. and much as I hate cliffhanger,s i will put myself through that pain for your stories... hopefully it won't be unbearable torture, considering you did say you will update frequently and so far you have been truthful in such matters...

Loved loved loved the description of lucknowi arts and crafts... I can see there will be more in this story and I am looking forward to that... of course, that is not the only thing I am looking forward to...I am also looking forward (more eagerly) to find out why you named the story what you did! 😉

Wow! A great start to this new story of yours😊

You have given a descriptive image of sheesh mahal and while reading this I felt as if I am watching a movie & all this was unfolding in front of me😃

Anyways, I am loving the flow of your story. Cliffhangers do irk me but since I am used to these in your stories, I am not minding it anymore!

The air around him is seducing him! The word made its entry in here.

He is already into her...just to catch a glimpse of her...

And she, well she too seems quite intrigued by him!

Even I was surprised to see that He didn't mind her asking him questions. There's something about her actually!

I am eagerly waiting for next!😃

How do you do this. This inexplicable connection that Arnav SIngh Raizada and Khushi Kumari Gupta have is so profoundly beautiful in your stories. Every one of them. Whether they share a history or not.

And that confuses me here - again no answers needed from you - it is just part of the thrill that this roller coaster is going to be. So here is what I am thinking - they do have shared history isn't it? Or is the man who stayed in the housekeeper's quarters that connection? Or do they have just common links and she knows, waits - for revenge - seems unlikely, to heal - more Khushi-ish but equally unlikely...

He is captured by her honesty. But is she? Honest?

What happened in the last year? Why is everyone worried for him? He does seem broken...Why...It breaks my heart - strange how his pain comes across so potently so quickly...your writing what else can I attribute it to.

She will heal him won't she? Or is the seduction a part of that plan?

Juhi, you magician, spellbound as always...How do you do it?

Oh and Spellbound - maybe your next really can be something other-wordly (Yes, I am rather embarrassed about that leap of imagination from the prologue :P)

I will be back to comment after a second read. But you can go ahead and like this. I will find another post. I am going to use this story to get me to the next level on IF (Red Rockerz is it?)

PS: Orange. I love it. I can actually see a flash of orange in a black and white rambling mansion that is the Sheesh Mahal. Beautiful

The opening scene's description of Arnav standing by the window ( felt like I was watching a movie ), all the intricate details of Sheesh Mahal and Lucknow's narrow streets ( even Googled )...👏
You gotta give me some ( actually, a lot of 😛 ) lessons, J... 😊
Khushi and Arnav had some past connection ? or not ? 😕 I cannot even predict anything on this stage. The chemistry was there even without meeting each other properly, and it was all because of your way of telling the story that it didn't seem weird. 👏
Lavanya and NK are already here. Let us see , how you bring the other characters into the picture.
And, now we know, how "Chamkeeli" was born 😃. I like Lavanya and not so sure about NK.
Why was it so important for Khushi to get that job ? Why is it so important for Arnav to get Sheesh Mahal renovated after all these years ? What made him leave all those years back ?Aman and the women on the phone are worried aout Arnav... but why ? What has happened in the past year ? And who was that woman on phone ? His sister, Anjali ? Fiancee ?😲
Well, Fiancee seems unlikely, given his reluctance in making a move towards Khushi, initially.

I do not expect answers, immediately. These are just my musings. I'd wait for further updates to give me answers. 😊
