That day I waited till the wee hours and then when you did post the chapter...AD decided to throw a tantrum. Like a toddler isn't enough work for me on that front already! Sigh

Anyway, I am here now.

And first things first. You did it. You really really did it. Vibrant orange. I have tears in my eyes. I promise you. You are a sweetheart!!

And now...I know there are all these theories and I had promised myself this time I will read and enjoy and not speculate. But I have all these visions of Mary Poppins. Maybe it was because Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic (I refuse to be ashamed of my movie watching choices, ya) was playing in the background as I read your update. And there is definitely the aura for concealment and disguise - I love it

But what I love even more is the beauty that you bring by referring to the crafts. I feel like she is the girl the promo once promised. The one who makes her own clothes, the beautiful maiden who works with all things beautiful but nothing as pretty as her - you know like the girl who spun gold (or was it the dwarf..Rumpelstiltskin?)

Whatever it is...I am here...truly and whole heartedly. Waiting to be seduced by your word play. Who else but the master to do that the best.

And J, I have to say it here again - reading the prologue makes it clearer why you won those awards. You have a way with story telling while keeping the SKD measures as copious as we need. All the best for another great story. And someday...please...please teach me the art of planning just how many chapters a story will have.

@bold-- I LOVE Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic too. No shame involved okay!

@red-- I agree wholeheartedly. J always picks up these bits from the promos that the show never did justice to, and spins gold out of them, as you say. And it WAS Rumpelstiltskin who spun gold from hay. The peasant girl's father had gotten carried away and told the King that his daughter could spin gold out of hay and the King had brought her over to his castle and locked her in a room with a pile of hay and spinning wheel. Of course she couldn't do it, and sat crying over her fate, for the King had said that she would be beheaded in the morning if she had not completed the task over night. This dwarf appeared in her cellar to help her out in exchange for her gold ring or something. And he spun all the hay into gold. The King was mightily pleased and locked her up again the next night. The dwarf appeared again and did the task again for some other piece of jewelry. The THIRD night, the maiden had no more jewelry to offer and she pledged her first born son to him in return for completing the task, little expecting to ever have to fulfill her promise. And that is how she was indebted to Rumpelstiltskin.

Awesome! A new story from Juhi! I have not read the prologue, but still could not stop myself from commenting. I am almost jumping up and down with excitement!
