Sumitra will not ACCEPT MANNU wholeheartedly...

Don't know what Sumitra will do but Ratan's parent can also come to claim Mannu as he is their varis. Jagya has to legally adopt Mannu, mere love is not enough to make Mannu his own child. But then I forgot that this is a serial and such rational things are never shown - it is all emotional drama and Singhs are always right in BV.

If I am correct then Ganga was given the legal custody of Mannu at the time of divorce with Ratan Singh. So that makes Mannu as Ganga's child and now that she is married to Jagya, he will be his step-father...

you are right Timepass. Ratan's parents cannot come to claim Maanu, because the court made Ganga the legal custody, but marrying Ganga also doesnt give Jagya full rights of a father. If he legally adopt Maanu then Maanu will legally be an heir to the Singh's family, and he will have full right to the family's inheritance...etc.
If Jagya havent adopted him legally, then every love, money and rights he has with the Singh's will just be base on emotions. Gauri's son can come to contest his position in the family, and will have legal backings.
As for Sumitra i dont think she will have problems with Maanu for now, until Jagya/Gauri's child comes into the scene. But for now she will show him grandmother love...am sure
but later if anything goes wrong, she will blame his bad blood.😡

i really hope Jagya or Bhairon really think about Maanu's future and Adopt him just to secure his future. because i dont trust everyone else in the Havali

I have always had this doubt.

Sumitra wll do this "apna khoon, paraya khoon" deal and discriminate between Mannu and JaGan's own child. In fact she might discriminate and make a face even compared to conduct with other kids in the house.

For her it is Ratan Singh's blood. She won't remember he is Ganga's child too.

At times I doubt DS doing this discrimination too but then I think she brought up Basant and loved him more than Bhairon so she won't do this drama as much as Sumitra could.

I think Jagya should do all legal formalities to ensure Mannu's custody is with them only and legally he and Ganga are his parents.

It's just a matter of time. Sumitra might go bonkers again if Rat or his family attack or create problems. She might redirect anger at either Ganga or Mannu.

And if God forbid, but Mannu makes mistakes or goes wrong as he grows older...I think he will be dealt with more harshly compared to other kids. 😕 I only trust Bhairon and Jagya to take care of Mannu and to some extent DS. I have no faith on behaviour of other characters. Acceptance of Ganga does not mean whole hearted acceptance of Mannu. 😕

Yeah this thought even disturbed me as well , hope the CVs show some

if dats da case she shud look at her own daughter's life...Varun is not son of Shyam...but being treated as their own by suguna's sasural...she shud not change rules for DIL and daughter

Actually the problem is that CV's cannot think of how to revive the character of Gauri...Anjum did a fantastic job of portraying Gauri and I doubt anyone else can be as good as Anjum...may be CV's will talk with Anjum when she has settled down after marriage in real life and offer her to come back as gauri once again and ruin Singh's CHAN-NEEND etc...
