Chapter 1

[There are two temporary character introduced only for a short while; Mr.Mehata as Swayam's lawyer and Mr.Singh as Sharon's lawyer.]

There was a man walking down in his black coat.. Through the looks of it he was a lawyer, standing and chatting with his client.. His client a tall lean guy about in his late 20's or early 30's in his light blue shirt, deep blue denims, a black slim and stylish tie and a sexy cream coat.. A well build body with a board chest.. His hair not much long but just perfect to give the gentleman a chocolaty look.. His eyes hidden behind his black ray-ban aviator.. Any girl would fall dead right there looking at this handsome hunk..

Mr.Mehta (forwarding his hand): Congratulations Mr.Shekhawat, you got the divorce..

Swayam (shaking hands, smiling): Congratulations?! Thank you, it's all your hard work..

Mr.Mehta: Oh come on Mr.Shekhawat, mujhe kuch jyada karna nahi pada kyunki dono parties had no objection against it to court ko toh apka application immediately grant karna hi tha..

Swayam: Hmmm.. My secretary will get in touch with you and aapka cheque apke office pahuch jaayega..

Mr.Mehta: Thank you.. Shall see you soon..

Swayam: Oh no no.. Mera phirse divorce lene ka koi irada nahi hai.. But court ke alawa.. Sure.. Be my guest..

Both of them bid each other a good-bye and left.. Swayam sat in his car and zoomed out.. He didn't notice that there were a pair of eyes continuously following him.. Noticing him.. A girl standing with her lawyer and two more people.. She was too in her late 20's or early 30's in black leggings, skin fit white singlet covered with her long loose light blue denim shirt whose buttons were open right through.. Her stilettos enhancing her height.. A perfect figure any man would fall for.. Her hair let loose and just like the guy her eye hid behind her grey ray-ban aviator.. She was continuously staring at Swayam from the time they had entered the courtroom.. Now looking at him talk and then just disappear.. She was disturbed by one of the individuals standing by her side..

Kriya (concerned): Shar.. Tum theek ho?

Sharon (coming out of her trance): Yeah.. yeah I'm fine..

Mr.Singh: So Mrs.Shekhawat.. Umm sorry Ms...

Sharon (attitude): Sharon.. Sharon Rai Prakash..

Mr.Singh: Ms.Rai Prakash umm Congratulations and Sorry for your divorce..

Sharon: Sorry? Par kyun? I'm happy and thank you you've been a great help..

Rey: Sharon are you alright?

Sharon: Yeah Rey! Aur main theek kyun nahi hogi?

Kriya: Shar.. Because..

Sharon: Because what? Guys relax! It was a mutual decision.. Hum dono ek dusre ke saath khush nahi the.. Toh bas we decided to end our misery and live our life happily by ourselves..

Rey: Are you sure?

Sharon: Rey!! (to Mr.Singh): Thank you very much for your help..

Mr.Shigh: No worries.. Mera kaam hai.. And woh..

Rey: Aapki payment aapke office pahuch jayegi..

Mr.Singh: Thank you..

They all start moving to their car.. But Rey stops Kriya..

Kriya: Shar.. Tum car main baitho main abhi aayi..

Sharon moves to the car silently..

Rey: Kriya tum Sharon ko leke ghar jao.. Main aata hu..

Kriya: Par aap kahan jaa rahe ho?

Rey: Main woh Swayam ko milne.. Shar jaise khud ke feelings chupa rahi hai waise hi Swayam bhi.. I mean usse abhi meri zarurat hogi..

Kriya: Theek hai..

Kriya started moving to the car when Rey again stopped her..

Rey: Kriya tum..

Kriya: Please Rey maine aapse pehle bhi kahan hai, main aapke aur Swayam ke friendship ko bahut respect karti hu.. Par main uss insaan se nahi mil sakti jisne meri behen ko itna hurt kiya ho..

Rey: Ok..Ok I won't force you.. Tum jao aur Sharon ka dhyaan rakhna..

Kriya and Rey moved to their respective cars.. While Kriya was walking to her car she saw Sharon sitting on the passenger seat.. She seemed lost.. She was surely not the Sharon Kriya knew.. She silent got into the car and thought not to disturb Sharon and started driving..

Kriya was driving and just an incident flashed through her mind..

FLASHBACK

Kriya was calling out to Sharon from a long time but Sharon didn't respond.. Finally Kriya went up to her room..

Kriya: SHARON! Kab se bula rahi hu.. Jawab kyun nahi de rahi..

Sharon was sitting on the bed hugging the pillow.. And she looked depressed..

Sharon: Sorry maine suna nahi..

Kriya found her behaviour weird and sat next to her.. Sharon rested her head on Kriya shoulder..

Kriya: Kya baat hai choti? Tumhe theek nahi hai?

Sharon: Pata nahi Dida.. Kuch ajeeb sa lag raha hai..

Kriya: Ajeeb matlab? Ab theek se batao kya ho raha hai?

Sharon: Mujhe rona aa raha hai par ghussa bhi.. Mujhe hasna hai par irritatation bhi ho rahi hai.. Mujhe usse milna hai.. Par woh mujhe avoid kar raha hai.. Jab dekho tab ladkiyon ke beech baitha rehta hai.. Pata nahi Dida mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai..

Kriya: Usse kisse?

Sharon (blurts out): Swayam aur kaun?!

Kriya (surprisingly shocked): Swayam?!

Kriya jerked up and sat infront of Sharon with excitement written on her face.. Poor Sharon almost feel but somehow handled herself..

Kriya: Tumhe Swyaam se milna hai par woh tumhe avoid kar raha hai.. Right?!

Sharon (pouting): Haan!

Kriya: Tum jab usse dusri ladkiyon ke saath dekhti ho toh tumhe unn ladkiyon ko noch dalne ka mann karta hai.. Right?!

Sharon (with funny expression): Sirf un ladkiyon ko nahi uss gadhe ko bhi for his guts..

Kriya: Hamesha Swayam ke saath rehne ka mann karta hai? Harr baat usse share karne ka mann karta hai?

Sharon (dreamingly): Haan..

Kriya (catching her shoulders): Choti!

Sharon (looking at her): Haan..

Kriya: Choti I can't believe this!

Sharon (confused): What can't you believe?

Kriya: You.. And..

Sharon (confused): Me and what?.. Dida you know you are scaring me!

Kriya (excitement): You idiot.. You are in love with Swayam!

Sharon (shocked): WHAT!!!

Kriya: Yes! Yes! You are in love! My choti is in Love!!

Sharon: Oh please Dida you've lost it! Just because you found Rey iska matlab yeh nahi that everyone around you starts falling in love..

Kriya (tapping Sharon's head): Duh! I found the right guy for myself and I know what being in love is like.. Atleast for once listen to your elder sister.. You are in love my girl..

Sharon: Dida you have lost it..

Sharon pushed Kriya away and pulled the blanket all over her.. Kriya didn't give up.. She went to Sharon's ear..

Kriya: Choti is in love..

Sharon: Leave me ya.. Let me sleep..

Kriya: Kyun Swayam ke sapne dekhne hai?!

Sharon: Dida I'm warning you.. Leave me alone..

Kriya: Haan haan ab Dida thodi dekhegi.. Sirf Swayam.. Swayam.. Swayam..

Sharon immediately got out of the bed and started running behind Kriya who had already started running..

Sharon: You are so dead!

Both sister running around in the house like 8-year old kids..

FLASHBACK ENDS

The car came to a halt.. They had reached their destination.. The Rai Prakash Mansion.. Sharon was so lost in her thoughts that she had not realised when the journey had started and when it ended.. Kriya saw her sister in the same state she was seeing her from the past few months.. She placed her hand on Sharon's shoulder and gave her a light shake.. Sharon came out her trance and faintly smiled at Kriya..

Kriya: Andar chale?

Sharon silently got out of the car and Kriya was just keeping an eye on her.. She followed Sharon till her room.. As soon as they entered Sharon stopped in her path..Her eyes suddenly reflected all her pain.. Old memories were flashing in front of her eyes.. Kriya followed her gaze and understood what she was going through.. It was Swayam and Sharon's marriage picture she had framed and put it up in her room immediately after marriage.. Though being her maayka, it was still her house and she want all those memories here as well.. But who knew that these beautiful memories would become a nightmare one day..

Kriya (moving forward): Jab koi rishta raha hi nahi toh kyun apne past ki cheese iss ghar main rakhni hai?

Sharon (stopping her): Dida nahi!

Kriya looked at Sharon and saw that a few drops had already made their way down her angelic face..

Kriya: Ab bhi usse pyaar karti ho na?

Sharon couldn't reply but in response just hugged Kriya and started pouring out her heart.. The pain was eating her from inside.. She was tired showing that these things didn't affect her.. But the truth was right the opposite.. No one could fall out of love just by signing some stupid papers.. She still loved him like crazy.. This divorce wasn't an easy decision for her.. Sharon was shocked that Swayam was the one to send her these papers.. The person who made her fall in love.. Who taught her the meaning of love.. Who promised to protect her.. Who promised to keep that smile plastered on her face was the sole reason of her devastation today.. Sharon couldn't control her tears anymore and her sister was the only one she could share her deepest feelings with.. And she knew that even if the world stood against her, her Dida would always be there for her..

Kriya was soothing her back letting her cry her heart out.. She herself had tears running down continuously looking at her little sister in such a state.. She didn't stop her as she had seen her cry silently in these past few months..

Rey had directly left for the office as he knew Swayam would be there.. Rey knew Swayam from their childhood and also was aware that when Swayam is going through an emotional turmoil he would prefer keeping himself busy with work rather than thinking over his problems.. As he reached he immediately went to Swayam's cabin..

Rey: Hey Swayam..

Swayam (smiling): Hey Rey! Tu aaj office main? Mujhe toh laga tu aaj nahi aayega..

Rey: Nahi main nahi aane wala tha.. But I just wanted to know.. Are you fine?

Swayam: Mujhe kya hona tha? I'm perfectly alright.. In fact zindagi main aaj tak I haven't felt so light by mind and heart..

Rey (confused): Yeh tu bol raha hai? Aur mujhe laga tu tere divorce..

Swayam: Oh come on yaar! Tujhe laga main apne divorce ko lekar udaas baitha hoga.. Ph-lease.. Yeh mera hi decision tha toh why would I regret it? Aaj main itna khush hu and finally it feel good to be single once again.. Actually thinking about it why don't we both go partying tonight?

Rey just nodded positively and kept staring at Swayam..

Rey (in mind): Kisse jhoot bol raha hai yaar? Bachpan se jaanta hu tujhe.. Tu duniya ko yahan tak ki Sharon ko bewakuf bana sakta hai yeh dikhake ke tu ek dum theek hai.. But I have known you since the time we both peed in our pants mahn..

At Rai Prakash mansion...

Sharon was sitting on the chair placed on the terrace and Kriya entered with two mugs of hot coffee..

Sharon (sipping the coffee): Dida please lets do something na.. I just want to forget everything an divert my mind..

Kriya: Sure baby.. Waise bhi Rey aaj raat apne friend ke ghar jaa rahe hai toh we both can have some sister-sister fun.. Hey chalo clubbing jaate hai..
