When it is an affair of the heart, even if she grown to love him. truly, deeply, it will never be wholly. No, I don't think she has the capacity for deewanapan, where nothing exists in the whole wide world beyond the beloved. Like that of Meerabai for Lord Krishna.

About him, I do not know. He has the capacity for it, I would think, but he has other and great responsibilities as an emperor, and no love can come before that.

Lashy I am surprised you didn't get this earlier. All along it is like this, initially Jalal didn't know how what nature Jodha is and so he roared but the day he realized that they both two sides of the same coin, they are both sailing the same boat his attitude changed and he gets his way with her. Just ponder on the incidents and you will know. He was attracted to her right from the beginning but his approach was different but now he is smitten and he has adopted the sweet devilish romantic means to torment her to get his way. 😉

Jalal is multi-layered, no doubt...but, their relationship does not seem to progress in the somewhat linear manner that most other couples' relationships do (even if we keep in mind their dynamics). Personally, I feel as viewers we shouldn't have to read so much in between the lines to understand what's going on - why can't they show a scene or two where Jodha is shown pondering on their past arguments/changes in the Shehenshah to herself?

A few disjointed episodes after the tiger attack and lack of proper justification or transitions between one happening/scene to the next is bound to make us all sit back and wonder what's going on...

Do you remember how many wondered/still wonder if Jalal is/was playing a fake love game after that devilish smile he showed Ruqs when talking about Jo? I still wonder why the CVs showed us that. Why do they leave everything with a bit of ??? to it? Is it so they can explore and expand all sorts of relationship-angles between the two? [Lure of the TRPs?]🤔

exactly! we need to stop comparing the movie and serial. as the story is not actully a historic tale as it is witten.. interpretation of the screenplay writers / directors are different. in the movie akbar and jodha never HATED each other actully !! did they? where as the base of Ekta's JA is NAFRAT turning in to love.

second, jalal is a MAN. who never lost a battle till now. and a girl he WON (almost) in a negotiation for a state behaves rudely to him- to the sahenshah-e-hind. It's his was of tackling the Nakhchadi Gussel sehzadi.. though a sudden change in his behaviour disappointed me as normally we dont expect such cheap things in such historic dramas. but loved that naughtiness to tease his own wife..specially because he did not get any lecture in return!
