If you take the precap and put it in context of the conversation Jodha had with Bakshi Bano, Jodha is indirectly and subtly trying to convey to Jalal that a woman stands behind her husband even when he is wrong, just to show the world they are strong as a unit.
She is repeating those words so that Jalal tiny brain😆 can understand her viewpoint without making a fuss. Really, if he is smart, I am sure he will take a hint.

This is probably the first time the great diplomat in Jodha has come to surface. We are seeing Jodha transition from an idealist to a realist. And Jalal from a delusional, blindly ambitious ruler to a considerate one.

Good thinking. But Jodha is not diplomatic.. and I doubt she can think that much 😆

It has more to do with protecting Bakshi bano.. and the fact that she sees no way out. She doesn't want shareef to be punished now. She had not thought what would it mean to prove Cheapuddin guilty. Jalal realizes this.. He doesn't exactly trust him but doesn't doubt him either.

Oh no you don't. You do not get to come into my house and tell me Jodha has limiting thinking abilities. I will not stand for that. As for being diplomatic, here is the definition: Using or marked by tact and sensitivity in dealing with others
Jodha uses both tact and sensitivity toward both parties to attempt to resolve an issue sans violence. That is textbook diplomacy. You can't even argue for plausible deniability.
As for Jalal, he has on rose tinted glasses when it comes to his relatives. To him, they are saints who can do no wrong. (Much has to do with his apparently unrepayable debt to Maham). Once that blindfold is off, he will see clearly.
I argue that through these hurdles, Jodha becomes the great diplomat history knows her for and Jalal becomes the considerate ruler people remember him as.
Also, TEAM JODHA FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jalal doesn't exactly trust him.

As for Jodha in the precap.. it is highly unlikely she is doing anything to solve the situation. It is another story that it may lead jalal to think. 1. Bakshi will support her husband no matter what. 2. Jodha is not a liar. Jodha had given her word that she will support him if her Bakshi denies everything. She doesn't exactly have a choice.

Jodha has made many blunders in the past.. Sukanya made more sense today. If she doesn't fix her relatiosnhip with jalal.. her life will become hell.

As far as history is concerned, Hira kunwari was nothing like this. 😆

Just my opinion.. peace.

I don't agree seeing as he REPEATEDLY said Sharrif has no reason to go against me.

The woman tried everything in her capacity to solve the situation. And even when it didn't work, she is still fighting. What else do you want from her?
It is another story that it may lead jalal to think.
Give her some credit. Why does it have to be another story? Based on the precap and precap alone, it looks like it's her story and maybe I am wrong tomorrow but we don't know that this minute.
1. Bakshi will support her husband no matter what. 2. Jodha is not a liar.
that's what I am saying. Jodha is using her and other people's limitation to her advantage. that is diplomacy.
Jodha had given her word that she will support him if her Bakshi denies everything. She doesn't exactly have a choice.
so we agree that she is indeed being diplomatic?
Jodha has made many blunders in the past.. Sukanya made more sense today. If she doesn't fix her relatiosnhip with jalal.. her life will become hell.
I said she is flawed so we agreed there. I don't see how the rest of it matters in this argument though.

Really? Because the Hira I remember (and history books cite) was a force bridging the Hindus to the Muslim, acting very much like the modern first lady and taking on social issues like religion when the emperor handed military ones.
Just my opinion.. peace.
critique is never objective so this is given.
