VC was much tensed that they would not be able to provide the sample to the client as the factory was burnt and the machinery destroyed. Saras and Kumud proposed to work at home just like things were done in early days, that is, manually!!
The family got to work. Saras told Kumud that she was VC's strength and Kumud replied : and "you are mine", leaving Saras amazed.The family worked all night and finally completed the sample on time. Kumud left the box in the pooja room, thanked the Lord and left, unaware that Kalika, dressed as the weird maid, was in the room to spoil the sample.
In the morning everybody realized that the sample box was missing. The businessman was there to check the samples. Saras was missing too. Danny tried to entertain the client but in vain.
Kalika has tainted the sample with red colour and had stolen it for Pramad but both got the shock of their life when they found out that the box was only full with old newspapers.
Saras has exchanged the box at night itself. He knew Pramad would try to trick them. Saras reached the haveli on time and presented the sample. The Desais got the order. The family was relieved and happy. Saras went away and went to meet Pramad whom he taunted well and reminded him that he had defied death to save Kumud and he would always be there for her and her safety.
At the haveli Kussum was praising Saras in front of the family for saving them again. She told Kumud how he had sold the plot of land for his mother's school to prevent the haveli from getting auctioned.
Kumud turned emotional. Saras had sold his dreams for her and her family. She promised to fulfill his dreams by building the school on his mother's name.
She started applying for fund to buy the plot of land in front of her school. Saras got to know about it and paid for the token amount.
Later Kumud got to know about it through Danny. When SaMud met in front of the plot of land, Kumud gave him the money back as she had managed to get the fund. She also accepted to have Saras as her student as he always listened to her.
Pramad came there and informed them how he had paid a bigger token amount to the greedy owner. SaMud had one day to get more money for the token otherwise they would lose the plot. Pramad was ecstatic.
Kumud promised him that she would get the money, would do the bhumi puja and he would have to give her divorce if she succeeded.
At home the family was tensed. How to get such amount? Kumud and Saras got the same idea at the same time - they would ask for the villagers' help. Again the family succeeded to defeat Pramad.
Pramad had now another condition to sign the divorce papers. He had now a troupe in front of the plot of land. If Kumud managed to gather more people for her bhumi puja than his nautanki group, then he would divorce her.
Again the family succeeded despite Pramad's attempt to create rift between Saras and Danny by telling Danny that her mom was a dancer of loose character.
The bhumi puja was a success. Saras turned Kanha and Kussum Meera and they depicted the story of Meerabai and her devotion to Krishna.
Pramad sent the signed papers through Kalika who reminded Kumud and Saras that they (PraLika) would not let their enemies at peace.
The "ghayal lomri" wanted revenge and planned to kidnap Kumud and asked the kidnappers to teach her the lesson of her life. He gave her description - small "ghamandi" eyes, sexy "kamar" with a kamarband around it!!
The inauguration was to take place. Kumud asked Saras to do it. Saras accepted though he was not really too happy. Danny was still upset with him for hiding his mom's truth to him. In his tension, he had also talked a bit harshly to kumud.
Saras was shocked to see his mother's name attached to the school. He turned emotional and thanked Kumud. Kumud told him:
- I wanted to win the challenge against Pramad because It was only about you and your dream which I wanted to fulfill at any cost.
Danny and Saras cleared all their misunderstandings. He came to Kumud to say sorry. Kumud reassured him that she was not angry with him. A pole was to fall on Kumud's head. Saras saved her. They shared an eye lock. Later Kumud gifted her waist chain to kusum for helping her.
As the sisters were going back home, the goons kidnapped Kusum instead of Kumud.
Kusum has disappeared.
Kumud, Saras and Danny were looking for her. Saras realized that something was wrong. He lied that he had asked Kusum to buy sweets so as not to worry Kumud and asked Danny to take Kumud home and he went in search of Kusum.At home Kumud realized that something was indeed wrong.
On the other hand Saras kept looking for Kusum who had dropped her jewelry on the streets. Saras finally reached the place where the goons had brought Kusum but was to go back when...he heard the sounds of the the...kamarband!!

Kumud is telling Danny that Saras had lied to her. Kusum aka Meera is in big trouble.
Kumud is doing the Bhoomi pujan. The drama troupe starts playing and everyone rushes to see it. Kumud and Badimaa are shocked to see that no one came for the Bhoomi pujan and every villager is going to attend the drama. Kalika comes and taunts Kumud saying no one will come to your Bhoomi pujan. Saras comes and says I m with Kumud. he says Vyas family is with Desai family. Kalika is shocked. The Meera;s Katha starts. Kumud says Saras... Saras says I would have not done this, but if its important for you, this will happen. Kalika leaves. There are no audience still. Saras dons the Kanha's role and plays the flute. Kusum looks at him playing the role of Meera.
