The trailer of Aamir Khan's much-touted film DHOOM 3 will be shown in the biggest format ever i.e. IMAX. Usually, Hollywood biggies like SPIDERMAN & BATMAN were seen in the IMAX format.

However, for the first time, a Hindi film will be releasing in this arrangement. And, to give the audiences a glance of what to anticipate from the film, the trailer of the DHOOM franchise, which is the most awaited has also been converted to IMAX.

The trailer is scheduled to release in IMAX on 30th October, 2013. However, to do the conversion, the makers had to take extra efforts which consumed some time and of course there was a heavy cost involved. As per the insiders, 'Aamir's DHOOM 3 theatrical trailer cost them around 2 crores more.'

A spokesperson attached to the film says, "DHOOM 3 is the first Hindi film to release in IMAX. Therefore to give a glimpse of what to expect, we are releasing the theatrical in IMAX. Obviously there is a cost involved."

But we are sure it is worth all the efforts!
