Rajeev Khandelwal gets a much-needed break; plans to take his parents on a drive from Jaipur to Ladakh

While his only serial Left Right Left has been given a break (thanks to the World Cup) Rajeev Khandelwal is using the time provided in his otherwise hectic schedule to do what he likes most — travel. Says Rajeev, "I'm going to Beta No. 1: Rajeev Khandelwal travel extensively by car. I plan to take my mother and father on the longest drive ever from my home town in Jaipur to Ladakh some time in the middle of March. I know they'll enjoy the experience." He laughs at the suggestion that this is his way of being the family man. He says, "I don't know about that. If by family you mean a wife and children, then that's a long way off for me. Yes, my parents are of utmost importance to me. And of late I haven't been able to spend much time with them. This break will give me a chance to do so." Rajeev is prepared for the eventuality that his only serial Left Right Left might not return on air at all. He says, "The ball is entirely in their court. If they improve on the quality, I'm on. Otherwise after I return from my road holiday with my parents, I start preparing for my movie career." Rajeev has a couple of film offers in hand. "But so far I haven't zeroed in on any project," he says. I'm going to travel extensively by car.
