Now he feels guilt, anger and shame and grief above all. How can he marry her now when he took her beloved father's life. She of all person would not care about the why and how not after know he had taken her father's life. He thinks of his own life, so poor, complicated and hard full of violence and if it wasn't for his life he would not have gone to Kashmir and then killed her father.

...so in his mind, he must stay away from Antara otherwise he will end up killing her...that night he dreams of it, and because bomb is in his mind...he dreams he is killing Antu with a bomb...it's a metaphor for how his life is filled with violence and will eventually touch the gentle sweet love of his life...HE WILL CAUSE HER DEATH ...that is in a nutshell.
