However I don't think the "Tum hi ho" song suited Sanjay-Shruti...didn't suit the kind of couple they are in my opinion...kinda jarred me to be honest...the scene would have worked better without it...with probably the regular KHZ bg music which is nice enough...I don't understand this need to force film songs into a show😕😕
Anyways Shruti was very conscious in that scene as Sanjay approached her...lol...and then when he said, "I forgot my keys inside the house"...lol that broke the spell...Shruti was so conscious about even giving the keys back to him that she dropped them before he could pick them up...To be honest, I don't think SS even need close scenes to show their chemistry...they aren't teenagers that they need these Aashiqui type songs playing on them😕
The bit where Sanjay refuses to accept her SMS as a resignation I liked though😆...and tells her that even if is to accept that, she's still on a notice period of 30 days...they always use this angle in shows to prolong the office track😆...I don't mind though.
The scene of the epi ofcourse has to be Shruti's convo with her mother...well written...some things that stood out...Shruti's vehement declaration that she doesn't love Sanjay...but at the same time when asked by her mother what she said to Sanjay in response to his declaration, Shruti looks guilty...I also liked the point her mother made...that Shruti could have just told Sanjay in a straightforward manner that she doesn't love him and they can only continue to be friends...which she didn't...instead the situation blew up even more...that gave Shruti some pause too.
Basically Shruti's mother was a good sounding board for all of Shruti's thoughts...her subconscious thoughts included...that she's never thought of anyone but Harsh in her life...that Sanjay is just a friend to her, she hasn't considered him in any other way...that she doesn't want to marry him...her mother gave her some food for thought regarding all these aspects...and the fact that Sanjay's reaction to all this scolding from Shruti speaks volumes...given the way he still showed up for Ami's sake...and somewhere she struck a nerve when she told Shruti that her explosive reaction to Sanjay might have something to do with the fact that his confession triggered a change inside Shruti and brought some dormant feelings to the surface? I also liked that she mentioned he HAQ with which Shruti scolded Sanjay...I found it very telling in the actual scene too...lol
Sanjay's being remarkably composed about this whole thing...I'm quite liking how he's handling it...Shruti on the other hand is all off-balance and one can't blame her either...She's avoiding him deliberately...
Let's see if she shows up to work in tomorrow's epi😆
