10/23: Matchmaking fail!

LOL what a cute and entertaining epi today! Especially the second half!

But first I want to talk about the scene b/w Sanjay and his father in the first half...their convos are something I look forward to...the way his father is a sounding board for Sanjay, always giving him the right advice and support...LOVED Sanjay's dialogues in this scene...and his general attitude regarding the whole situation...the way he talks about wishing Shruti would understand this Sanjay too...even if she's used to the best friend Sanjay...but he is willing to wait for her temper to cool down...his father also gives him the right advice saying anyone would react the way Shruti did since she hasn't considered this side of Sanjay before.


Ami's matchmaking attempts were hilarious😆...that Madhu was a very pretty girl and not even some cliched/caricature...nice cameo...the girl did a good job...wish they'd always cast so well for cameos...Bhaavna ko kahaan se pakad kar laayein hain? :S

Anyways loved how Sanjay showed up and the awkward glances b/w him and Shruti through the scenes...the beginning bit when he came in and Khushboo hugged him and he looked over her head to Shruti...vague reminder of the MM scene when Mohan returns to JM...ahh nostalgia...lol...anyways the interactions in the second half were all SO natural and that is why the epi was so enjoyable...starting from Sanjay's surprise at Ami's plan...Shruti telling him he should have refused to come and that would have solved the issue but Sanjay says he could never have refused cuz he can't hurt his apne...aww😆

And the actual convo bits b/w Sanjay-Madhu with Ami trying to supervise...lol hilarious moments...few bits that stood out...the PERFECTLY timed moment when Madhu is talking about how she can't think of going through the marriage parade and giving chai to some guy who comes to see her...this timed perfectly with Shruti handing Sanjay a cup of tea and him looking up at her...😆...then later on when Sanjay talks about how he wasn't for marriage before but now he's thinking he should...surreptitiously stealing glances at Shruti...lol...and finally it turns out that Madhu already has a boyfriend😆😆...Ami's crestfallen face and Sanjay's burst of laughter here was hilarious😆...even Shruti cracked a smile...hilarious moment it was...and then Madhu explains to Ami that these things are pre-destined...can't be fixed like this...


Lovely epi...Manav-Gautami were fab as usual...loved the softness in Sanjay's eyes as he looks at Shruti...

Only annoying bits which are getting repetitive now are Prabha-Bhaavna bis...


Precap: So Shruti's mother overhears SS talking outside the house...

An awwish episode. Barring the dumbo brigade which now includes Sanjays bro and SIL. 😡 How can his bro behave so dumb.

Anu as usual u said it all in beautiful way that I cnt go beyond that dear👏 loved Manav 😳😳 he was looking stunning n thoda thoda romantic look whn he see Gautami n yet settled frnd look superb !!! Gautami is opening up more nw...that's gd both r complimenting each other !!

@Spidie: I agree with all your points too...I quite like Sanjay-Ami chemistry too...it has that buddy vibe to it...

And word about how Sanjay is handling the situation post confession...with so much maturity and thehraav...so pleasant to watch...loving the writing in these scenes...

I guess Shruti hasn't told the family yet...maybe she will make some excuse tomorrow.

I liked how Sanjay closed Ami's mouth which had fallen open in shock after the disclosure that Madhu already has a boyfriend. 😆

i agree with your entire take on yesterday's episode. from myself looking forward to sanjay-dad scenes to that well directed match making scene in shruthi's house. this cameo as you mentioned, was well chosen. smart and good looking girl, ideal choice by any mil. bhavna toh koi aur hi cheez hai. lmao..

loving this show a lot. yesterday, it even managed to get my mood better which was earlier lousy. we need more such 'normal' shows on tv.
