I'm just reposting an article that posted months ago. It touches on what I was trying to discuss earlier on:

DDEJ is a love story but it will have it's share of conflict to show that being in love is not all smooth sailing. It's trying to show life as it is. Often being in love is more of a problem than not being in love is😆

I don't mean to hurt or upset anyone by saying this or posting the link (I'm sure everyone has read it) but I feel like many are getting too worried over the story conflict.

Conflict is essential in a story, it is how the characters deal with it that makes or breaks it. I am sure our Raghu and Antara will deal beautifully with it, and yes they may stumble once or twice because they are human and young and very much in love but in the end they will overcome it. My only worry is that the show does not become a cliche but full story justice is done with all the questions raised answered properly.

Sweebilli,

The important thing is to enjoy the story as it unfolds, trust in the love story. Indian tv shows are notorious for starting really well but ending in a abrupt and rushed cliched way so here's hoping they give the story the full justice it deserves.

I nearly fainted with shock seeing Dm in the kitchen tonight, kept looking for her gun or stick...😆😆

It's quite sad but Indian Tv shows have made kitchen politic part and parcel of every shows now and this won't be an exception. If DM is still around then maybe her and Rasika will join hands together...😡😡

I think they will go to Kashmir, for atonement on Raghu's part if not for anything else. I doubt Antu will run off, who will look after her mother or brother?

Though if she finds out the truth after marriage to Raghu, then she may decide to go to Kashmir, away from him, and he then follows her...

I can's see her marrying Satya - at this stage - and then running off to Kashmir with R because of the above again. Satya and DM will kill her whole family so the above option is more likely...unless R takes her there for honeymoon...

that's the thing i really felt attracted towards this show it was different and the story was captivating...but im afraid of them relying on the same ways of showing these conflict. separation of rantara is going to happen only way for them to grow and their love to mature. however, what i dont want is an interference of satya. i dont want antara marrying or being with him. him plotting to separate and all that other stuff sure...whatever...but him actually with antara is where i have to draw the line. they can show separation in an entirely different manner but i dont think they will seek the opportunity to explore a different plot.

Hi,

Don't worry...if Antu marries Satya it is for her growth...she finds out Raghu is her father's killer s she rejects everything about him ...then she will find Satya worse than anything an d Raghu is actually the best thing that happened in her life...everything leads back to one another as they are Do Dil Ek Jaan...

Separation is needed, otherwise who would believe that a girl can happily live on with her father's killer?...yeah we know he was just a pawn but emotions don't see that at first...it will take her months to even digest that (thought at the jet speed CVs are going who knows, maybe by end of the week she will have forgiven Raghu!!).
