Just registered here only to ask the creators of Balika Vadhu:
How can sanchi withdraw case now?
Haven't the shekhars and also the police mentioned time and again that it is no more in their hands. It is Rajasthan Govt v/s Jagdish Singh?
I thought the only reason to do that was that at one point Ira and Sanchi and the rest of the family is going to regret their decision and try to withdraw the case, but like it or not they will have to face consequences; courtesy the over-smartness of their collector son.
but now the spoilers say something else😕

I don't know if it is possible to take back a case in such conditions. It wasn't just a small complaint, the girl is suing the guy for mental trauma which instigated her to commit suicide. That is such a serious case. You can't blame someone with something like that with no repercussions.
And especially if Kabra starts Turning the case back on her and tries proving that her suicide attempt was a fake and case an attempt to get revenge. Will the judge allow a person to retract their case if the person suing now feels that the case is going the other way and they will get implicated instead?

So stupid! The CVs should have shown that Sanchi tries withdrawing the case but to no avail, and gets charged with character defamation or something.

I don't think anyone can withdraw the case at this stage.
Did Sanchi file the case or the case was filed against her for attempted suicide?

They said it is the government which filed the case against Sanchi and arrested Jagya because Sanchi gave a statement that he was the reason behind her suicide

But most likely CVs will not give answerers to these proper questions because they think we are idiots and that's why sit in front of the idiot box and watch all the mindless stuff they dish out.

BV will not show what should be logical. Nobody can withdraw the case (there is little chance of an out-of-court settlement in cases like abatement of suicide) and Sanchi should be tried separately for attempt to suicide, they cannot club the two cases because in one case (abatement) the accused will be Jagya while in another case (attempt to suicide) the accused will be Sanchi. It is not some family matters that can be decided in one case.

The case against jagya can be withdrawn if saanchi reverses her complaint and says she did this of her own accord and jagya had nothing to do with her suicide attempt.
The CVs are clouding the case with issues of "who would have been a better bahu - ganga or saanchi?" and " was jagya an alcoholic?" etc. etc. none of which have any bearing to Jagya's character (as it relates to his alleged womanizing which is the central allegation here)... a person may be an alcoholic but unless it is proven that he rapes women in his alcoholic state or something, his alcoholism has nothing to do with the case of womanizing or treating women with contempt or as toys.

In that case, the Rajasthan sarkar will be forced to stop in its tracks... but then saanchi will be forced to face punishment for levelling a false allegation.

She would be better off sticking to her guns however weak they may be and letting the court case run its course and the judge declaring her as the loser and Jagya as the winner. 😆😆😆

no wonder case can be taken back because it was one sided case but the problem is that is saanchi is taking case back because of deal with ganga leaving j

The case against Jagya and the case against Sanchi (for suicide attempt) will become invalid, if it is proven that Sanchi did not try to commit suicide, instead it was just a fake attempt. Then, Singhs can file a fresh case against Sanchi for causing mental trouble. But I think, Singhs won't be after revenge. Shekhars will apologise and nobody will have any complaint. So police won't file any case.

She can withdraw HER COMPLAINT (not the case).

You are correct that they can only either win or lose ... the key here is the timing not the verdict itself.

If saanchi withdraws her complaint, then she will be declared the loser sooner. 😆😆...and without dragging her name thru the mud and going through unpleasant questioning.

If saanchi sticks to her complaint, then she will be declared the loser a lot later and with attendant loss of face that comes through proving that her love was one-sided.

@ brick red -- no the case against saanchi will still stand - attempted suicide because she did cut her wrists. Whether she did it out of genuine emotional distress or some personality disorder that causes her to become self-destructive when she becomes vindictive towards someone else is really irrelevant. (except that the latter may lead to heavier sentencing 🤣)
