How are you all? And how was your week? My week was … eventful… lets not delve into my week now…
Let's give you the headlines of the story today…
- Jugle, Hari and Mushtaq along with Guptaji are the detractors to Gayatriji.😡😡
- The supporters pray for her and show concern for her.👏👏
- Gayatriji tears the admit card seeing her husband's decisive disagreement😭😭😭
- And at last… (I'll keep you waiting for the climax… read and see what happens at last… but you will surely not be disappointed)😳
Today's episode in my opinion was a bit lengthened and a bit boring in the beginning…
To avoid boring you all my update today will be shorter…😳
Full summary 😊–Continuing from the last episode… when Gayatriji gives the gold jewelry to Naresh asking him to sell it and then goes to make roti for him Kavita reminds him of the time when his father wanted him to work in Ratiram's caf and his mom had stood beside him and encouraged him to pass his exams … this time his mom needed him and he shud support her . Naresh understands and he goes to ma and apologizes for his behaviour. Rahul says that next year he is also going to try for the exam👏. Gayatriji happy.😃
The 4 deewane are having a nice time in the caf singing "ABCD chodo, naino se naina jodo…"😉, playing carom and discussing the consequence of Gayatriji giving the board exams. Rangeela chacha (the paanwala) and Rahul try to explicate them as to why it is important to pass the boards, but the 3 guys don't understand they decide to do something about not letting Rahul's mom give the exam.
Gayatriji is having a class with Sandip who is teaching her General Knowledge which has a huge portion of Politics😳. Gayatriji tells him that she had been too busy with the family life that she wasn't able to even read a newspaper😕. Sandip asks her to get herself acquainted with the Jammu Kashmir issue, the 1993 riots, the bomb blasts, the Kargil war, the nuclear tests etc. Gayatriji listening to these becomes reflective and sad… she says that in her 8th standard most of her books had a mention of Gandhiji in those times but today there is no mention of him anywhere😭😭. Sandip understands this and still is unable to answer her question… (actually even I started thinking… I teach too and iv seen that my student knows more about the Kargil war rather than Gandhiji… that's so sad… we should not forget our history to make way for the present… isn't it?😳)
The 4 deewane are in Gayatriji's house to steal her books. Rahul tries to stop them but the other 3 think that if Gayatriji will give the exam the pressure on them will increase. As they are about to leave with the books Naresh catches them and asks what they were up to. Jugle pretends that they wanted to give the exam too and they were just borrowing the books to study😡. Naresh offers to teach them👏 just then Gayatriji comes and Jugle and the others find a way to run away from studies!!!🤢🤢
Guptaji watches Rose praying for Gayatriji and then she gives him a Rosary which will bless and encourage Gayatriji to do well in her exams. This is followed by others too… Sujata's husband (Urmi's father) gives him a cushion (which is this light orangish pink color… its beautiful😳😳) because she would have to sit in one position for 3 hours and that would give her a back ache👏👏 (how thoughtful na?!!😳👏👏). Shuklaji gave Guptaji some advice (a friend called and I dint hear this part, sorry guys😭😭😭). Gyaniji gives him a pen for Gayatriji with some nice words, Mahua gives him prasad which she had got from the temple where she prayed for Gayatriji😊. Guptaji is simmering with humiliation😡😡. Jugle, Hari and Mushtaq come and tell him that they want to give him an advice🤢. Irritated Guptaji tells them that he dint have any other hand to take what they wanted to give Gayatriji😆. They say that the advice is for him. They tell him their situation and ask him to stop Gayatriji from giving the exams (this is the first time Im very very angry with these guys… how can they say something like this!!😡). They also tell him that the main culprit was Sandip who encouraged Gayatriji😕. Guptaji's anger has reached the boiling point and his head is just about to blast (to anybody who would come infront of him)😡
Urmi is in Sandip's house and she is washing the tiffin box to take it home with her. Sandip says that she doesn't have to do that. Urmi asks "kyun, aapko mera yahan aana acha nahi lagta kya?" (why, u don't like me coming here?). Sandip frankly says "ab tumne pooch hi liya hai to main bata doon 'Nahi'"😆 (now that u've asked il tell u… NO). Urmi is hurt but she retorts back that this house is not his and it's gyaniji so she can come whenever she wants. Sandip irritated asks her "tum mujhe ye dhauns baat baat par kyun deti ho?" (why are so authoritative towards me?). Urmi says "wahi karte hai jo acha lagta hai" (I do what I like) (Man I don't understand this guy… she is so clear of what she wants but still Sandip always acts so ignorant… which planet does he belong to yaar??"). Sandip changing the subject tells her to take Gayatriji to the exam centre the next day. Urmi asks him whether he will accompany her or not… Sandip says no.
Just then Guptaji comes and Urmi goes away.
Guptaji blasts at Sandip for encouraging Gayatriji for giving the exam😡😡.
In Gayatriji's house…
There is a heated discussion about which sari Gayatriji should be wearing to the exam the next day. When Gayatriji sees Guptaji enter she asks him which sari should she wear saying that she is going to wear the one which he'll tell to wear. Guptaji blasts at Gayatriji now. He tells her that he had given her more humiliation than he had ever got in his life. He tells her that in the society he has become the butt of all jokes.😭
Gayatriji is sad and she tells him that she never wanted this to happen. She had always believed that he was her life and he had given her her identity. She explains to him that she dint even realize that she was Gayatriji Mishra when the admit card came. Throughout her married life she had been given so many names like Mrs. Gupta, Sasuma, Gupti😉 bhabhi etc that she had forgotten that she once used to be a Mishra! She dint want to cause any humiliation to him so if he thought that her giving the exam caused such shame to him then….. she tears her admit card saying that the exam is not more important that his honor.😭😭
She goes away followed by Kavita, Naresh and Rahul.😕
Guptaji realizes his fault after she goes. He watches a man who walked on a stick being helped by his wife up the temple stairs. (He must have realized that a wife is not just a woman who stays at home and rears kids, she is also the prominent half of the husband and stays beside him when he needs her and she helps to complete his whole being. So, it is the husband's responsibility to also take his wife's side when she needs him and support her in her decisions… this is how a whole system works right?😳😳)
The exam morning dawns –
Gayatriji is silently crying in bed. Just then she hears Guptaji's voice calling her saying that she should get up soon or she might be late for her exam. When she gets up her face is smeared with tears. Guptaji apologizes for his mistake and tells her that he has realized that he had become very bigheaded of his achievements and in this mean time he had forgotten that arrogance was not the truth it was just the way of seeing his accomplishments😊. He tells her that he was a simple man and for a simple man his family's and most importantly his wife's happiness means more to him than what the world thinks about them. He takes the heavily cellotaped admit card out of his pocket and gives it to Gayatriji saying that he wants her to succeed for him as he will be the attainer if she achieves in passing the exam.👏
Gayatriji who had been weeping hard accepts the admit card with a smile on her now covered teary saline lips.😛😛
All of Colonel Gunj came out to wish goodluck to Gayatriji on her first day of exam. Guptaji takes Gayatriji to the exam centre. Sandip stops Urmi from going… "Gayatri aunty ko sahi sahara mil gaya hai". Urmi gently asks "aur mujhe kab milega?"😉😉 (and when will I get my support?). Sandip looks at her confused🤢. Gayatriji and Guptaji goes to the exam centre by rickshaw.
Gayatriji enters the classroom and all the children stand saying good morning mam thinking that she was their invigilator. Gayatriji silently takes her place and smiles at a girl staring at her. The girl smiles back (this was so nice!!).😃
Guptaji stands outside tensed along with the other parents.😳😳
Shuklaji gets a parcel. It's a Saxophone… lagta hai armaano ki udaan jaari hai Colonel Gunj mein!!!😆
He plays the ACHPM tune in front of the fountain bringing all the mohalla members out of their houses.👏
By the end of 3 hours we see Guptaji standing in the same position with a lot of concern on his face😳 and a coconut in his hand along with a straw👏😆 (Oh my God… I got reminded of how my father used to stand outside the exam centre waiting for me with a coconut in hand and cake in his pocket!!..... what days yaar… Thanx a lot writers… you made me sooo nostalgic!😳). A teacher passes by and when she sees Guptaji she stops and asks him whether he was waiting for his grandson …. He says proudly that he was waiting for his wife (WOW… isn't it?)👏
Children come out of their classrooms running to their parents. Gayatriji looks for her husband. Guptaji's face light up like a thousand bulbs when he sees her. They meet and Guptaji gives her the coconut to have and takes the writing board and bottle from her hand👏👏. They walk hand in hand, we see a bird flying in the sky symbolizing the liberation of old thoughts and sadness from evrybody's hearts.😛
The last part was great…👏
