Why Coolbies don't get the same power as Viewbies ?

The reason coolbies can only sticky topics is so that viewbies aren't bogged down by simple things like stickying WUs or games or other threads opened by coolbies. It's just a way to keep things working well. Also coolbies is a rank to recognize people for their hardwork.

Like you mentioned yourself, we're a TEAM. Not everyone in a team/workforce has the same powers; there's always a pyramid of hierarchy, and there's always some people right on top and right at the bottom.

Also, like Sri mentioned above, if everyone in the Development Team was to have the same rights, then what is the need to differentiate between all the different DT members and their titles? But this brings us back to my earlier 2 paragraphs, that we are all a team; and everyone in a team doesn't necessarily have the same powers.

Of course, Coolbies are given the power to stick and unstick their own updates so that the Viewbies/Moderators/CMs/GMs don't have to deal with issues such as the stickying/unstickying of WUs or other threads. They also provide IF a great service by providing us with timely updates; which is why they're recognised so. Of course, the contribution of Coolbies to other stuff such as NLs etc is entirely optional, and everyone here appreciates their work; which is why they're bestowed with the title of Coolbies, cause they're so cool yo 😎

And of course, when there is any issue in a forum, members are firstly asked not to react. Secondly, if you have about 5-7 people taking decisions for one forum, issues are bound to crop up within the team itself, and it is not a particularly conducive atmosphere if the members of the DT are arguing with one another about what decisions to take.

Finally of course, not every Coolbie possesses the maturity and capability to be eligible to become a moderating member of the Development Team [that is Viewbies/CoolViewbies, Moderators, CMs and GMs], which again explains the fact as to why can't all Coolbies be given rights similar to those of the Moderating DT.
