Mumbai: Made her Bollywood debut with "Shuddh Desi Romance" Vaani Kapoor has already started giving a tough competition to her senior contemporaries. As per reports, Vaani has replaced the Barbie doll of B-Town Katrina Kaif from a popular soap brand.

As per sources, Vani has dethroned the leggy lass from the leading soap brand "Lux".

Earlier, there were reports that the brand owners were considering Deepika Padukone's name as their brand's face but now the updates suggest that they have zeroed on the name of this newbie, who has just made her entry in this glam world.

Earlier, many actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Kajal Agarwal, Asin have endorsed this popular brand.

Recently, Katrina Kaif's upcoming film "Dhoom 3", starring Aamir Khan opposite her, is all set to hit the theaters on December 20.
