Is there any mallu in this forum?I've a doubt whether d malyalam serial Parasparam is based on diya aur bati hum

Yes Parasparam is a remake of Diya aur baati hum.

yes it is. Unfortunatley it is turning no match to DABH😭. When they took the characters they didnt understand the nuances of Sooraj and Sandhya thus goofing it up.

I am a mallu and have watched couple of epi of parasparam.

Main goof up was in making Sooraj a bhola-Bhala ladka which he is not. Sooraj lacks formal education and his knowledge is limited to what Bhabo tells, but he is a man who has seen hardships and have faced them with a smile and turned out to be sober. He is supremely talented , in other words he is a unpolished diamond who when polished can walk shoulder to shoulder with his IPS wife. This aspect they didnt look in Malayalam when they created Sooraj.
