Shakti Anand and his unit have found a new way to de-stress by playing cricket for two hours everyday on the sets of Ek Ladki Anjaani Si after shooting. Shakti Anand, his other actor friends (Kabir Sadanand, Karishma Tanna and wife Sai), the technical team of Ek Ladki and Kajjal team up for the game.
Shakti says, "Being part of a daily soap we hardly get time to indulge in sports, so we end up playing cricket. We play fifteen to twenty overs every day for two hours or so. Since the sets of Kajjal and Viraasat are in our vicinity, many of their technicians play the game with us. Cricket seems to bond us perfectly." Recently even film actors Nana Patekar and Aftab Shivdasani joined in the fun while shooting for their respective films in the vicinity. The actors try to wind up shooting by 4 and then play the game for two hours and resume shooting after 6 pm.

For Karishma Tanna, cricket is the best thing to happen, after work. "I like playing cricket in the huge passage on the sets and generally I do not like over-arm bowling so I end up with under-arm bowling and batting. And I bat wearing designer saris since there is no time to change and anyone who loses the ball has to pay up twenty bucks except the director . Despite the work pressure we play cricket which is a relief factor," chirps the actor.
So the director's fine with letting the crew and the actors play? "It's great fun to play between the shots besides it bonds people. Our director is very understanding and tries to manage time to join us as and when possible," points out Kabir Sadanand.
