In yesterday's episode, Asad said a few things which will make Zoya fight for her love and life too in the later episodes.
BELIEVE WITHOUT ROOM FOR DOUBT
He started out by asking Zoya, "Aap mujhse nikaah karna chahata hai?".
[My heart went out to Asad here. He was so scared to ask Zoya this question. He feared her answer, but he needed to know]
And she said "Mr. Khan, mujhe aap se nikaah karna chahati hoon, lekin..."
He stops her and "Agar mujhse nikaah karna chahati hoon, to isme lekin ki koi gunjaish nahi hoon".
[The relief in Asad's when Zoya confirms that she still wants to marry him. In short, he told Zoya, she cannot have doubts. Either she wants to marry him or not. Wow, Asad, wow. I loved the firmness in his voice when he said this. Zoya could only stare at him. A strong message - Believe Without An Ounce of Doubt]
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HAADSA AND A VAADA
Asad assured Zoya that he understood what marriage means to her.
"Main jaanta hoon, nikaah aap ke liya ______ jab ta umr nibayengi. Lekin, Miss Farooqui, aapke aur Ayaan ke beech jo huya ho wo VAADA NAHI THA - EK HAADSA THA. Khuda ka _______________________________________. Main kabhi bhi aapko vaada thodne ko nahi kahatha. Main bas ye kehra hoon ki - is haadse ko bhool jaye"
Asad knows that whatever happened was a mistake, an accident. He knows that he has to convince Zoya too and make her see that it was not a promise or a vow. He needed to convince Zoya that she does not need to feel guilty.
Asad knows that he will lose Zoya if she is convinced that whatever happened between Ayaan and Zoya is a 'vaada'.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE SITUATION
The situation was Asad asking Zoya to do something without understanding fully the situation. He still has not realised it fully. As Zoya said it is easy for Asad to tell her everything will be fine but she is the one who has to go through the whole situation. Asad may realise this in today's episode.
Asad: Main Jaanta hu galati meri hai. Bahut badi galati,
YAY...Asad has accepted it was his fault so he might get into action of making things right instead of sitting around.
Asad: Jiske saasa aapko mil rahi hai. Lekin mujhe bi is galati ke bahut bada saasa mil chuka hain. Main aap se aur door nahi rahe sakta. I Miss You. [Heartbreaking]
Nikhat ka nikaah ho gaya. Aap ke paas us ghar me rahene ko koi vajah hi nahi. OK.
Asad still has not understood the extent of what Zoya is going through. He can't think beyond these words of reassurance. Tanveer is right in a way (Don't bash me here). Asad is in a dreamland. He needs to do more instead of sitting around waiting for Zoya as Dilshad rightly advised.
So Zoya rightfully says
Zoya: Aapko ye sab kahana bahut aasaan hai, Mr.Khan. Lekin meri liye ye karna bahut muskil hain.
Asad: Miss Farooqui, sab kuch teek ho jayega. Ayaan meri zimadhaari hain. Aapki nahin. Jaise doctor aa jayenge mein Ayaan ko kisi bade hospital mei shift karta hoon. Woh teek ho jayega. Sab kuch, sab kuch teek ho jayega. I promise you. Aap mujh par yakeen hai.
Zoya nodded.
Asad needed to know whether Zoya trusted him and Zoya needed to be reassured by Asad.
When Asad is in jail, when Zoya is going through crap at SM. this convo with Asad would be her strength to fight back.
Asad knows that though he made the initial decision and put Zoya in that situation, the final decision of coming out of the situation is in Zoya's hands.
