She should be intelligent, talented and of course well educated with a sense of humour. If she has long hair then it would be an added bonus. She should know how to conduct herself well.

Depends on the person in question. I'm neither for nor against the idea.
Q If your girl friend spends longs hours with her ex, would you be comfortable?
If she is still interested in her ex then she wouldn't be my girlfriend in the first place.

If I'm in love, I will. But since I don't know how to cook, I will order the food of her choice from a nearby restaurant.

Why not? If she can carry off those clothes and is comfortable in them, why would I stop her? To each her own.

It is very important. Individuality needs to be retained inspite of being together in a relationship. The base of the relationship has to be friendship.

Not necessary, at the end of the day, we all are human beings at heart and that is what that counts.
