Hello every One .. !!!

I was thinking about this week topic and one thing came in my mind

what would u do IF u were on the place of Sugni's family

place of every member of the family - Hukum / katari / naganiya / katari's wife / sugni / gulabiya and tinkle

what would u do if u were One of them and the Panchayat would throw u out of every thing

No rai

No help

No money

No friends ext ext

what would U do

please write what u do as

Hukum

Naganiya

Katari

Katari's wife

Sugni

Gulabiya

Tinkle

would u do what they actually did in the show or would do something else

And And And

after being accepted back

would u remain friends with all the villagers ???

would u help any of them ??

and

If some one else get the same punishment

would U help or say - no he did not help me when i was in problems so let him die with all his family

Nice topic Ronit...What would I do?
Well given that the entire family was basically Shunned in the village I completely Understand Gulabiya's actions when she went to Jwala. Her family was starving and she needed to get them food as it was her responsibility to do so. So in her position I would probably do the same if i saw it as a way out.
Hukum and Katari, Naganiya... The sentence was they could no longer do raai nothing else. These men were healthy and strong ...so they could not go out and look for some manual labour...maybe in a neighboring village? They could have gone out and look for a way to help rather than sit down and blame Sugni and Gulabiya for the situation...
Sugni too showed she was innovative she tried to get that job with the making of the amchar.!!! She did what we all would expect her to...find a way to help.
as For Tinkle she was a child and Latchmi being pregnant could not do much so were excused/
Now for the neighbours ...it is said only in your hard times you see who your real friends are... and all I saw was one person willing to help. The rest of them were just enjoying the show of this family's suffering. And when people stoop so low as not to give you WATER to save a life...sorry I would not care for them either when i get back on my feet!!!

Even I understand Gulabiya''s action in this scene .. she was a mother and she did what ever she could to save her family

Katari n His wife - instead of leaving the house he had to find a job

even Hukum , katari n naganaya - instead of selling gulabiya they should find a better way out

I was irritated to c that Hukum n his wife .. listening to Saroj thakuraiin and knowing she hates Gulabiya and want to make her life hell they want to sell her - this people will sell their mother cheapest people dirty type people .. will do all for money

why didnt hukum sell his wife ??

any ways they had to help in finding job - useless strong man sitting n eating !!

those people ... if such happen to any one he / she wont look back at those friends who call them friends and do not help when u r in problem

I agree with Vinnie and Ronit, Gulabiya's actions were justified being a mother and an aunt, she could not just sit idle and watch her family starve. If i were her...OMG i have no idea what i would have done...😳... honestly speaking though, i guess i would have found another way i mean really look hard for another way other than Jwala😆. As for Sugni, well i can definitely relate to her...she did as was expected of her...the rule was that the family was not allowed to do Rai that doesn't mean that they couldn't find another way to get money...i would have done exactly what she did, play undercover and get a job in one of the Thakurine's house...as for those lazy bones Naganiya, Hukum and Katari...all they thought about were themselves and being the men in the family they could have showed some sort of consideration towards the women ...try to find a job if not in the same village in another village as Vinnie rightly said. In tough times family members stick together...they try their best to make things work and they help one another and given that Katari's wife was pregnant...he could have done this much for her and his unborn child's sake. Had i been in their position i would have tried my best to fulfill my duties come what may and Tinkle being a child one would not expect her to shoulder such responsibilities and obviously Laxmi too as she was in no condition to bear any stress.

Thank God that among those heartless villagers there were two persons (Vikram and Amrita) who truly understood the importance of being humans.

sarah very well written .. I must say amrita n vikram were the only 2 to support n feel their pain and the funy part they were the two to suffer from this family amrita lost her love - sugni snatched aditiya from her (how cruel) and vikram - ufff he suffered allot and the man sugni felt was there for her Mr aditiya thakur he was very mean to them he kicked those people from his house - ok he wanted to leave n made sugni take laxmi along with her back home the same adi sugni claimed he was there for her - when ??? any ways vikram n amrita supported and got punished later on 🤢
