Was reading about
Section 306 in The Indian Penal Code, 1860
306. Abetment of suicide.-- If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
It clearly says any person commits suicide means death , it does not indicate failed suicide attempt..

right now Sanchi is not dead so how does this section works against Jagya??

Can any advocate / Lawyer explain about this IPC Section?

I am no lawyer

here's what I think

Sa tried to commit suicide because J maang bharo G2 n dumped her

His action of maang bharo G2 resulted in her suicide attempt.

So his direct action led her to do it So J par case banta hai

Now even Sa ka psychiatric evaluation needs to be done to see whether really she was affected by it and she committed suicide or she is of unsound mind n did it

In the evaluation it should come out that she is not one who will try to actually kill her self n she is obsessed with J

Only her true colors can go against her n J can be free

You have read it right dear...there's no case on J. The Indian law clearly states either there shud be 'proof' of someone coaxing/abeting the other to commit suicide(like brainwashing/harassing them that there life is of no use) or in the case the person has done some criminal offense to the victim that forced him to commit suicide like dowry/physical abuse/harassment. And J had all reasons to dump her bcoz he heard her saying to her friends that she is faking a good character and will separate him from his family. So his breaking the rishta was socially and legally fine. After breaking the rishta whatever he does is his life not anyone's business. Had J married Ganga w/o breaking the engagement or while he was still committed to sanchi it was a valid case.Since engagement doesn't come with any legal contract anyone can break it if they feel the alliance is not suitable for them.Though emotional loss is beyond repair sometimes but till date law has not covered it.

The truth is as always BV has lost it on common sense like railway thing and its makers are hell keen on butchering Shiv.

PS - For all those who have query that how i know this though i dont watch bv...pls dont use so much brains...stupid colors shows lots of ads and precaps/recaps while m watching 24 or BB
