Mona says Jassi needs to lose weight
Mona herself seems to be in no hurry to shed her onscreen persona. She says, "The person I am and the character I play are very similar and so I feel comfortable taking my onscreen persona off-screen."
She claims that her Jassi look attracts a lot of attention. "When I go for coffee after a shoot, I try to hide my face behind my dupatta. However my voice is always a give-away," she says.
Being in the guise for over a year now has its perks. She says, "I love salwars, so I spend most of my time in production clothes." She adds, "I need to lose a little weight."
She can't comment on the anticipated make-over, since that's a secret. She does, however, tell us that she's dying for a break.
"I'm really happy with my success, but right now I'd love to go on a holiday," she says.
