It should be Ruqaiya-Akbar and not Jodha - Akbar.

Every time we see Ruqaiya and Jalal together and he will run to her and tell every thing to her no matter how small the matter is and will do what she advices him to! Really!!!

If she takes care of him, does every thing for him, gets all his attention and affection then I don't understand how will love story between Jodha and Akbar develop? Even after his recovery not one scene was there between Jodha and Akbar alone, Mallika-e-begum is nesting on Akbar's bed 24/7. And you all promoted this incident will lead to change of hearts and romance!! Kahan se, kaun angle se?

I am disappointed with all the hullabuloo about tiger attack, jungle track, nursing him back and what did we get...absolutely nothing!! Khoda pahar nikla chuha!

I am sorry CV's, if you want to make it to the top you have to re-think your plan of action. You have to get Jodha and Jalal in the same frame to make them fall in love with each other. Tending a injured person or doing something out of guilt or responsibility or duty doesn't mean Love in my dictionary.

Whenever we get Jodha and Jalal either she is spitting venom at him with her endless lectures or Jalal is taunting or mocking her in some way or the other or screaming or misunderstanding or reprimanding her.

Give the audience something to relish upon. Till date to me the 'aarti' scene has been the biggest highlight of the entire serial. That was fabulous. There was an undercurrent of attraction, some naughty attitude, affection from both sides, compromise too to some extent...I felt something there. Please give us some more meaty scenes which will leave a deep impression in our minds or else very soon l will lose interest just like I do in other shows when they do downhill.

If they are epic characters then make their love story epic too!

dude I get wat ur saying but i think ruqquaiya was jalal's 1st wife n she is his bff so obv. tht's how they're gonna b until jodha - jalal falls completely in luv wit each other wen jalal almost does tht atleast a line or a major cord b'twn jalal - jodha but the rest of the barrier is yet to cum down

true! but they can atleast avoid the BG music for ruk-jalal scenes .

rmbr in the jodha akbar times, jodha n jalaal was neva in love for him she was just the mother to his 1st son n the woman he married to form a political allinance or sum crap like tht b'twn agra n amer but it was always ruqquaiya he was in love wit sadly so maybe tht's cv's r trying to portray wit the bg music.

which is stupid bcuz at the beginning of the serial ruqquaiya was always full of herself n neva really showed tht she was deeply in love with jalaal but afta the whole mc fiasco they r showing tht which can b very confusing

I am not comparing this story to actual history. This is Ekta's story but if you are referring to

history then every fact clearly proclaims Akbar loved Jodha right from the beginning, he had a soft spot for her even before she gifted him an heir. It was Jodha who had reservations.

I get childhood sweetheart and friend angle very well but then make this a ruqaiya jalal love story and not jodha Akbar.

And I frankly am not interested what ruqaiya will feel after jalal falls in love or what she might do. According to history she will be there in the background and later will bring shahjahan up. I prefer to see her in the background as we'll rather than in the forefront all the time.

i agree some what ...even i was very dissapointed when we did not get the nursing scene..indeed its like khoda pahaad nikla chuhua ...ek scene toh defintely banta tha ...but cvs dint give us dat also...

but yeaaa i get wat u're saying plus it does not make sense too the shows called jodha akbar not ruqquaiya akbar but think abt it jalaal must feel sumthin for ruqquaiya she was his 1st wife afta all n she was supposed to giv akbar his 1st child until tht unfortunate mistake happened so i get tht he will feel sumthing for n she too will feel sumthing for him maybe they're trying to phase out their feeling for each other or sumthing idk

Umm. How can you say that Akbar loved Jodha?

Historically, there is very little known about their Love story. Hardly anything actually. Jodha was the Amer princess & marrying her was a vastly beneficial political alliance for Akbar &'the Mughals as a whole for Akbar was deeply keen to gain entry into Rajputana. It was his father, the Emperor Humayun's deepest wish! But it didn't happen while he was alive. Akbar made it happen. As Abar was extremely intelligent , highly politically astute & ruled with an iron hand & calculated compassion.

As for Jodha giving him his waaris, his three chief Begum's were Ruqaiiya who was Paadshaah Begum. Salima & Jodha Bai/Harkha Bai. Ruqaiyya couldn't bear children, Salima was his Khaan-Baaba's wife & as far as I know, isn't known for sure if she gave birth to Akbar's children.

Hence Jodha giving birth to the heir could be out of sheer necessity. He might've liked her, had a soft spot for her but the Epic Love Story the movie & show claim, I really doubt if it took place.

It is widely known that Akbar never had a Grand Love Story the way his son & even better, grand-son had. His one real love was his Paadshaah Begum, his childhood friend & best friend, Ruqaiyya Begum.

And how can the makers wish away Ruqiayya? She was his true love! Even after JJ fall in eternal love I hope they don't fade Ruqayya away.

It's time Indian audiences become emotionally mature.
