PROLOGUE

A young girl was sitting the canteen of sanjeevani hospital. She must have been in her mid-twenties. She was stressed out. She kept her head on her hands and rested them on the table. She was lost in her deep thoughts when a handsome young man, almost the same age as hers walks into the canteen.

His physique, his smile, his hair, everything about him attracted attention.

Everyone in the canteen noticed him; some wished him while some hugged him except one girl. He walked towards her, sat beside her, pulled the arm in which she was resting her forehead and said

"What's wrong? Any problem? Speak."

"Why me Karan, why me"

"Ridhima, stop beating around the bush, tell the problem, I am the counsellor here."

"I have got a crazy patient again. Her screws are loose and I have no idea how to tighten them, I obviously need your help and your expertise at the subject."

"I thought so, why me god?" he said

"What do you mean?" she asked

"Whenever I come to this hospital, I come with the hope that I could spend time with my loving wife but on contrast, I get to deal with Dr Ridhima's insane patients." He expressed his plight.

"not my fault, you are a counsellor with a PhD in psychology, and my dearest husband, I know, you travel a lot, I have idiotic work schedules, but we sure manage time for each other, and I have also considered your return from dehradun two days ago, But we have spent lots of time together yesterday. So why crib?" she said smirking.

"Fine, anyways give some basic information."

"This one seems intelligent, but is dumb, I say she is a crackpot; she has loads of attitude and does not respond properly. I think it is something related to love." She said.

"Okay, this much information is enough, I'll handle the rest, so come lets meet a new granny." He said.

"What makes you think, she is a granny" she asked; surprised

"Most, if not all of your patients are grannies." He answered as a matter of fact.

"Well, she is defiantly not a granny, she'd kill you if she heard you now, and yes the most important information, It's a suicide case. And yes since we are going in, you should be silent, she should not wake up, I put her on sleeping pills so that she can rest a little. I know that you know the rules but a reminder would do no harm."

"I will handle it perfectly" he said in an assuring tone

She took him to a room where a beautiful young girl was lying down. She was fair. Her age was no more that nineteen and must be in college. Karan's face became pale after seeing her. He was shocked to see her in this state. He whispered "Sharon"
