Craaaaaack . . . . . . . .
That's the sound of my heart breaking. Poor misguided Angad and Kripa. Who are they trying to kid when they tell each other that they are okay with the way things are. At least Naina got one thing right today when she said kay pata nahin kyun Kripa ko chain nahin hai. Because how can either Angad or Kripa be happy when they are apart. They are meant to be together and they will be. Hated Prithvi and loved Josh today btw.
You know I was remembering all my favorite KYPH moments the other day and I realized I had so many memories associated with KYPH, some happy, some sad, and I experienced the strangest combination of sadness and joy. Happiness at such a beautiful love story and sadness that people will stoop to any low and try with all their might to besmirch such a beautiful thing. Because this is just a make believe story (that's still very close to my heart though), but unfortunately that's what happens in real life as well. I wish I could go charging into the TV screen and make everything right for the two of them and blast the plethora of villains and vamps that this serial possesses in such abundant numbers, into smithereens. But then that's the lesson we have to learn in life. You have to take the good with the bad. For we are shaped by both and who we are is a direct result of our experiences. Sometimes we may wish that we could roll back the clock and take away all of the sadness that we had to go through. But then, I have a feeling that if we did, then all the joy would be gone as well. For it is in times of adversity that we realize the true value of all we have and that gives us the strength to persevere and fight. And it is living through hard times that makes us comprehend the worth and significance of the good things in our lives.
Such is the case with Angad and Kripa. They met, fell in love gradually, although the spark was always there, and then they parted. Good times followed by bad. But they will meet again and when they do, the joy of reconciliation will be all the more sweet for them because of all the pain and hardship that they had to go through.
We may ridicule balaji telefilms like hell for all the clichd crap they churn out so rapidly but I've got to admit that they managed to come up with a story that pulls at your heartstrings. A story about two beautiful people in love, who became a victim of their own uncertainties and other's scheming and plotting.
This then is KYPH. The story of Angad and Kripa. First you will smile. Then you will cry. Don't say you haven't been warned.
