CID Episode 69 - 16th August

Will we get the Janmashtami special episode today or the Independence Day special one?

Anyways, whatever it is, I hope the episode is a good one...

Also, a very Happy Janmashtami to everyone out there...

I must say, while the starting of the episode was a bit unremarkable, the premise they chose was interesting... Hacking UPI or in their world YPI systems causing all payments to fail. That was interesting...

Considering how much we all rely on technology, launching and investigating a cyber attack sounds really interesting. Something fitting for the current situation.

Really good episode but are they not allowed to say UPI in the show? What is YPI?

I watched the ep in 2x speed

Liked the comedy scenes with Pankaj today

But they needn't have shown so many closeups of those charred bodies.....how am I supposed to have nightmare free sleep now?

With the way the ep was progressing I thought it would be a two episode arc but it was concluded brilliantly

Loved how ACP sir deciphered a paticular clue and loved how the criminals were handled

This is me giving a spoiler free review cause I know the episode doesn't end for another 28 mins for people watching it in TV

Waiting for tomorrow's episode

Alright, the ending was a disappointment for me. Yeah, they ended it on a good note but I was kinda expecting the usual flag hoisting and the National anthem too... As per the precap shown last week. Something signifying that yes, we are celebrating Independence Day and not just a mere mention in the beginning of the episode.

Surprisingly I didn't expect a flag hoisting scene this time (that thought didn't even cross my mind tbh) so I wasn't left disappointed at all.

They might show a flag hoisting scene in today's episode let's see.

I doubt...I feel they will show Dahi handi ka today directly

Loved the moments between the team members. It just gives such a warm family feeling and buffers the tension of the episode correctly without taking away from the seriousness of the case.

Loved the episode, pace was just right , not too fast , not too slow. The way the case unfolded and was solved by team building was great.

Dr. Salunkhe is such a great and integral part of the episode. Without him, CID team is truly incomplete. He never misses any detail.
