******Chapter 3*****

The night breeze blew the curtains, as she tossed and turned on her soft bed. The feathery pillow gave her no sleep. Manya mind was messed and troubled, something was definitely wrong with her. Someone had stolen her sleep, whole time since the time she returned all she wandered was about Veer behavior, why could she not reply back to him and what kept her affected by his words. Instantly at some point a sweet smile also came to her face as she recalled him, she wandered how cute he looked in his cheeked shirt and jeans. She had never felt like this for anyone, something that she was sure of it was not her anger towards him; the proud arrogant princess was actually ready to forgive someone who had insulted her so much. Everything he said something her heart seemed to beat faster than ever, what was happening to her and she needed a solution so she tip toed to Jia room. To her delight Jia was awake she tugged herself beside Jia, as Jia looked towards her and said

What happened? Is there something troubling you?

Nothing I was just feeling lonely so I came here

I know you better than you know yourself so come on open up yourself what is the matter?

She looked at Jia but she was not actually confident to open up as she asked

They both smiled as slowly they drifted away to sleep. But here in the boys house situation was similar both Akash and Jaggat was unable to sleep as they could already feel their heart stolen away by Manya and Jia. The only person who was not cursed with the arrow of love was Veer; he seemed to have a peaceful sleep.

The next morning came with a new ray of hope, as the birds danced in the air happily. Today all the love birds took special care about their dresses, Jia being aware of jaggat comment about decent dress up decided on a anarkali salwar, while manya too tried to be into her best so that today by seeing her he does not taunt her anymore. So she wore white jeans, with a sleeveless black top and a shrug to go with it, the new glass booths fitted her legs perfectly. She could not recall when the last time she was dressed so much for anyone was. They drove to the college to find the boys waiting for them in the courtyard. Manya heart skipped beats as she watched him standing in between them and cracking jokes as they made their way towards them, Jia was greeted by everyone warmly and so was Manya but except for Veer, who taunted her yet again

Looks like baby girl assumed that we have a fashion show poor she

She looked down at the dress trying to find what was so annoying, she felt embarrassed as she trusted his words. For the first time someone words effected her so much, her heart pained as she looked up to see him already walking away merrily. As akash and jaggat assured her that she was looking perfectly fine. The day passed away like wind, as they made their way to the practice hall as Jia could not leave her all alone she too accompanied her to the hall and jaggat too invited her to watch his band practice, Manya was given the lyrics and tune as for once she watched them perform it, she was mesmerized by Veer voice, when it came for her to perform, she could just not get her tune correct her mind was nervous she wanted to be perfect near Veer but she messed it up entirely, she could see the anger boiling in him as at last Jaggat said

it is ok we will practice tomorrow now we all shall go back home and get ready for the party guess

Everyone shook their head in a yes bide each other a bye and went back to their house. Manya was troubled the entire time, his words were attacking her, by last night conversation something that she was determined that she loved him a hell lot and she needed to confess before she messed her life. She was sure her proposal would be accepted as she was never rejected and she wrote down a letter to him. Then they both got dressed in their grown it was evening by when they reached their house. All the boys were dressed in suits. Akash was completely mesmerized Manya looked out of the world, the blood red grown added radiant to her glowing body, her hair was pinned into an elegant bun and her face needed very little make up as she was already had nature beauty. The party was in full swing in the garden there was dancing going on, while Veer stood by the side preparing the barbecue, Manya was glancing every now and then at him, she wanted a chance to give him her letter and she finally got one when she watched him going inside she made an excuse to akash and went inside too. She followed him upstairs to the and finally he noticed her footsteps in the corridor and he looked back to see her standing there he asked in a curt voice

What are you doing here?

She felt herself panicking as she managed to say

I was searching for you

Why?

She felt butterfly run through her stomach as she managed to hand him over the letter, as he read it through

"Dear Veer,

There was something that you need to know, since the very first time I saw you I felt myself falling for you, though you were always cold and curt to me yet I do not know why I fell for you. I really love you veer"

He did not read further as she watched him tearing the letter into pieces, and said to her

you love me well all girls in the college does what is so special about you that will make me accept your proposal neither you are beautiful nor you are good in studies. You are just not my type ok you are dumb and arrogant so better leave my way

Saying this he shrugged her off as she crumbled and fell on the floor, she watched him walking away from her, she wanted to stop him, wanted to tell him how much she loved him cared for him but now she knew she was useless just like a trash bin as she walked dreamily back to her home, she locked herself in the room and cried till her heart elation, her heart was broken and scattered into pieces how could he deny her love for him, she felt her life breaking apart as the only source she could see was the bottle of finial on the bathroom rack. She took it and said to herself

What use is this life to me, he is right I do not have any thing that could make me deserve him. I am just a rude arrogant and cruel princess the world deserve better

Saying this she took the bottle cap out just as a phone call disturbed into her thoughts.

*****Chapter 4*****

It was from her dad as she dried her tears, that day there was no ego clashes or not anger she simply called like she used to call him once

Whats the matter daddy? Why did you call my so late at night? Are you ok?

Bridgraaj could feel his eyes wet with tears, for ages he had been carving for the word, his long stoned heart seemed to melt as he felt his eyes wet with tear that word brought out the long died fatherly love he had as he said

Saying this she disconnected the phone as bridgraaj turned towards the lady waiting for his judgment and said

, As she tears fell from her eyes, she tried wiping them away, her hiccoughs seemed never ending. She wrapped herself in a quilt cover; she wanted to hide herself the constant crying made her breathless she did not even realize when she fell asleep on the cold floor. The fever had caught her she had been sick for over a week, and when she returned nothing seemed to be in shape, Jia confessed that night Veer read her letter to them and made a great fool of it. Though neither akash nor jaggat showed any sign of that and treated her nicely but she was hurt, she wanted to run away from there. The whole day whenever Veer passed by her he did not forget to give her a taunting look and as she passed by the corridor she could hear whispers on her name. Veer had informed the entire college and she was now the new laughing stock for them. Days passed by she was lost in everything that she did, both Veer and Manya avoided them as much as they could, the only time they met was during practice each time he saw her he made her feel how irritated he was by her presence. Akash and Jia did notice that Manya was no more the same girl she was lost she devoiced her time either for studies or for the upcoming concert. She was completely broken and scattered and Veer always humiliated her. Though akash was always by her side it was now the day of the concert she sat there in the green room as akash came in and sat beside her and said

Aren't you nervous it is the first time you are going to perform on the stage! Do not worry trust me you will do fine

She looked at him and said in a sarcastic manner

Fine akash I am a loser and there is nothing that I can do I am quitting

You can't quit many we need you

I do not think so as no one needs me akash I am the laughing stock of the entire college

Then prove them wrong you are not a loser manya and I know that you are an awesome girl

You know people often avoid expensive thing as they cannot afford it and you are indeed precious and expensive

She looked at him, as she knew all she needed was someone to make her realize that she was PRINCESS MANYATA. As he took her into his embrace and she scooped her head into his chest, he whispered into her ears

She looked up at him with her eyes all teary and said

But akash after knowing everything how can you love me

See manya often love is one sided even if you reject me I will not regret as I could at least speak of my heart. Confessing needs a huge courage and you know what I will always love you and wait for you

She chuckled at him, it was enough of tears that she shed now she wanted her share of happiness she could not hurt akash as she said to him

You know what you need not wait that long I love you too

He smiled like a fool and hugged her more tightly as she said to him

Shall we go we need to be there now?

She chuckled as they went hand in hand, Jaggat and Jia was equally shocked as Veer almost spit the water. As akash proudly announced

Everyone applause except for Veer, she watched him marching away but that did not matter to her any longer as jia pulled her part and said

Jaggat is not the prince just the attendant and like you the prince too put this drama I too confessed about my identity and we both to are a couple now...

They nodded in a yes and manya went to the stage, there performance set the floor on fire. It was a romantic no by them as manya was coupled with akash. The song played beautifully

After the concert they all came, Jaggat got a big hug from jia, as Manya excused herself from the crowd she watched veer was utterly disturbed by her nearness to akash but she paid not head to it as she said to him

As they all including veer left for the ice cream parlor both the couple fed each other. But veer blood boiled watching his princess, his child hood sweet heart into someone else arm as he regretted his action
