What a beautiful love story, not the cheesy kind, but one with so much depth. I am so glad that I came across your ff this afternoon when you had already completed it. It made such an impact when I was able to read all the way through.
You write so beautifully, not just in terms of words, but also regarding the issues of life. Who wouldn't want to ponder on the trials and triumph of love, but very few can portray them in writing as you have done. I appreciated the fact that in your ff it is not people but circumstances that have forced challenges on the characters. Khushi is absolutely flawless, her only weakness seems to have been her inability to realize the meaning that her commitment to marry nk implied. Except for that she is rather perfect. Arnav is a different ball game though. From the vantage point of my chair I would like to think that may be he should have called khushi once before leaving. His rationale of not becoming an impediment for khushi's progress was a tough pill to swallow. But people think differently, and what made him meet his extraordinary challenges was the only hope that someday he would be back with khushi, what a deep faith to have. One has to appreciate such a commitment. For me his saving grace was the letters that he wrote to her everyday. Bottom line both of your khushi and arnav are such lovely characters. I would gladly bring them home. Absolutely adored arjun, but was not too sure about angali, too big for her own boots?
I am sad that the story had to end, but glad to have had the opportunity to read such a well thought, conceptualized, and articulated piece of fiction.
Waiting to read more not just os, but longer ss and ff from you.
Thank you.
