Chapter 19

Jai sat there with her mother beside her, she had no idea how her life would treat her now but she knew how to treat people now. Her luggage lay scattered round the cabin as she had just left her house. Left all those fake people she left her dad, her friends and all her riches and comfort. Today her dad forced her to marry someone for his financial benefits but today he faced a new character of his daughter. She boldly rejected him pointed out his mistakes and ill treatment towards her mother and she left her home. She choose her beloved over her luxurious it indeed needed lots of courage for her to start anew all alone maybe akash was the reason behind it. But all she knew that now onwards she would choose the right path only, as she held her mom hands and almost drowned to sleep suddenly the heart rate began to increase being all tensed as within some second in front of her mom was taken to ICU, doctors and nurse filled in the whole corridor as she sat outside waiting. Her eyes brimming with tears and her heart sank all that she could do was to wait. Suddenly she felt a warm hands on her shoulder as she looked up it was her dad before she could move away his hands he said to her

DAD: I am sorry jai for what I did to you I am sorry for what I had done to your mom I am sorry for running back of material things rather than caring for my beloved. I thought earning money was everything but I was wrong beta. Since childhood I was bought up in a middle class family I always longed for richness and always dreamed of high living. I was just a clerk when your mom married me she never accepted anything from me even in those days of sorrow and darkness she always cheered my soul but when I started to climb up the steps I discarded her of her love of that everything that she deserve I am sorry beta I am sorry

He wiped like a small child as jai took his hands into hers and asked in an innocent voice

JAI: dad mom will be fine right?

DAD: indeed love is a powerful force that can do anything she have to be back for us beta she will be fine we will leave happily again

Jai looked at the small ganesha murthi at the end of the corridor it was maybe for the first time that she knelt down into prayers. She prayed hard for her mother, her faith towards god and their loved showed its result as after five long hours the doctors came with a bright smile admiring their face as they announced now her mother was out of coma, there happiness knew no bounds. They entered the cabin to see her, her face glowed and there was that smile of her in her face as jai embraced her and even her dad joined in, her parents did not speak but it seemed like they understood each other from their eyes, aftermath she watched them sit together with their hands together and chat for long our. She watched it and wandered if she was lucky enough to be with akash. Giving a goodbye to both of her parents she walked on the lonely roads back towards her home. As slowly the rain drops began to drench her, she recalled all the sweet memories she spent with akash as tears covered her eyes. It well and was wiped by the rain drop without realizing she has reached the place where she and akash met for the first time during their marriage meeting. The sea beach she stood there letting the water wash away her feet. She closed her eyes to feel the raindrop on her face; the sea whispered to her a silent love song. But her thought were disturbed by sudden footsteps, a familiar aroma filled in the place completely, she felt her heart beating a lot faster. She opened her eyes and looked around but there was no one, she scolded herself for being stupid enough to imagine akash here as she walked motionless toward the end of the beach the rain had now stopped and it was just drizzling her body shook but she wanted the pain to hit her body suddenly her legs tripped on something when she looked down she found it a shell. Being too curious about the white washed shell she took it into her hands and opened it. There was a beautiful ring admiring its beauty as she felt someone presence right behind her she turned back to see it was akash. She was rooted their as he walked towards her, he pushed a log of her hair behind her ear and said to her

AKASH: did you like it?

Before she could say a word he continued

AKASH; it is for my fianc you are right I should move on and so did I and found a right girl for me and even this ring is for her

She handed the shell to him and tried to say with a smile

JAI: I wish you both leave a happy life akash

Saying this she moved her steps but was stopped again by him as he said

AKASH: don't you want to know her name

She nodded in a no and continued to walk as he screamed in a voice broken with sorrow and his eyes brimming with tears

AKASH: her name is Jainandini

She turned towards him as he kept walking towards her and said

AKASH: yes her name is jainandini but she loves being called jai. She is stubborn, arrogant, rude and mean, she does not care about anyone feeling, she is hated by all and

He grabbed her arms as his nails dug into her hands and he said with anger filled in his eyes

AKASH: and she think by writing a letter she can end a relation isn't that so

JAI: akash I am not the right girl for you

AKASH: let me decide jai that whether you are the right girl or not do not give your own judgment let me do it

JAI: but akash... I am

AKASH: you are just perfect for me jai and you make me feel complete

Saying this he slips the ring into her hands and kisses her on her forehead. Jai cannot fight it anymore as she falls into his embrace she breaks down into tears now even she does not want to drift apart from him as the loved bird spend that night in each other embrace. The next day akash asks her to come along as he has a surprise for her. They drive to Akash office as the scenario shocks her, everyone present there, her parents , uday and manyata and even two ladies as akash joins them and introduce them one by one as she comes to know one of them is manyata grand mom and the other is akash and uday mother . As akash proudly announce

AKASH: ma, bhai, bhaibi and my dear dadisabh this is your gonna be bahu and my love Jainandini

She takes everyone blessing as her parents pamper akash and menuka treats her like her own daughter. Later that evening they have a reunion party in their house, as jai goes to uday and manyata and says

JAI: I am so sorry I know I have created many problem in both of your life though I do not deserve a forgiveness but still I am really sorry

MANYATA: jai we all do mistake but you know what the biggest thing it confession and regretting. I do believe that one's someone confess and regrets for their action they should be forgiven after all mistakes are the proof of us being human. Let us forget all those and start anew

UDAY: yes jai what ever happened is past and we must burry it now it is time for you to start a new life so forgetting all those lets start a new relation

He got a dead glare from his wife as he confirmed by a smirk and said

UDAY: I meant the relation of bhabhi and dewar

The trio laughed together as akash joined in looking confused and said

AKASH: what are you talking about bhai?

MANYATA: nothing akash they are just planning to run away together

He looked at jai as manyata winked at her and she said

JAI: yea akash I am planning to dumb you for uday

Instantly he sat on his knees and started to pled her to stay with him. The trio burst into laughter and jai felt sorry for akash on confessing the small prank he too joined them in the laugh as the party continued till late night and soon after a week they got married to each other and uday and akash became the owner of the company. They decided to live together under one roof like a happy family
