If Jagya is culpable , Saanchi is NOT ...her crime is proven . While his culpability can be challenged and he can go free her CRIME is proven ...suicide attempt failed . Cocz Suicide is a definete crime in India . While dragging Jagya , they will harm their own girl . Thats why suicide attempts r hush hush in India . They don't even tell near relatives or friends coz news can be leaked out and it can be a headache .

Coz India is a land of arranged marraiges and there is no love in the selection and proposal involved . There is no compulsion for him to 'love' her during the engagement . He broke off bcoz he felt no 'love' would come later .

I have given a number of reasons about how the case can bombard on the Shekhars so i won't repeat myself . I will only say this

The premise of this case is the apology of that girl was not accepted and the guy refused to continue the alliance which miffed her family . The guy had no intention of rubbing his choice on their faces coz he never called them to witness his decision .They went of their own accord . So if emotional distress was inflicted on the girl , it was not bcoz he planned it . Neither is anyone supposed to be forced into accepting an apology . Law states that it is a prerogative . That girl had defamed and mocked his family in front of witnesses . When Ganga told him to apologise to Gauri see what she told him . Apologise for urself , whether she accepts or not is HER decision .

This is the premise of the case . This case if bombarded can set the boys who attempted rape free .They can challenge the girl's credibility and insist she was lying all along , that she had come there of her own accord and was miffed that they were not playing along . There r many boys who can back up this false story , thereis only one Saanchi who has been proved unstable liar in court .

Foolish vengefulness can backfire on THEM . Best is to let go , move forward in life , they never liked the divorcee anyway and think their girl is a princess who deserves better . So their purpose of doing this case and making their own more badnaam stymies me . That said , I am fully in favour of this case as i want that girl exposed .

Spuja, there are people in cities with rural mindset. The point is when i said urban,i mrnt people with education and means to protect themselves and not thrown into the clutches of total backwardness

What is rural mindset? Do you want to say that suffering silently is rural mindset? I have seen a number of people with education and means to protect themselves still suffering. Majority of educated people do not file court cases mindlessly. Court cases filed by rural people outnumber those filed by urban people. It is not true that only the powerful can take advantage or misuse of law.

Spuja, i agree some people even if thry can may not want to be dragged in court cases.

There are false dowry cases, but there are real cases that do not get reported. Number of false cases are minuscule compared to actual cases where the women suffered/died/ continue to suffer. It is like a few false cases maligning the whole lot of women. I agree there are false cases of rape/dowry/ domestic violence, but then there are false cases related to every criminal law. It is just that false cases filed by women get highlighted and false cases by men do not get highlighted. And my experience is- more urban people abide by law compared to rural people. BV creatives are showing that only rural women are good and I do not like this.
