Sindoori Leela : The Mockery

I have seen Bollywood mocking the sindoor , i have seen the tv shows mocking the sindoor and today SC show added feather in the cap.

Sindoor the most pious thing in hindu rituals have been used like some awful colour in the show.Its meaning has been raped and molested to the length that i sometimes pity when i put it as a part of rituals

In my family its compulsory to wear it in rituals and that too by hands of husband and u know it subconsciously creates a feeling of duty and responsibility both on man and woman

But here Pramad wipes it and fills it like some play...aaj shaadi ka mood hai chall laga deta hoon...aaj kunwara hone ka mood hai poch deta hoon😲...wow never knew smearing and wiping sinddor makes u married or bachelor 🤢

i respect kumud here as at least her character has been shown bound to its meaning and she does realises the responsibilities behind it but her duties to husband r null and void as pramad never puts it on her realising its real meaning .

Agree with you. I hate it when shows make mockery of marriage, sindoor, mangalsutra etc.

I doubt people today really attaches so much meaning to it. And the fact that Kumud is respecting this symbol is really a joke to me. How can you give so mucy importance to a symbol when the person who it is supposed to represent does not give a damn about you.

Kumud is showing the worst example of wifely duties, get beaten, told off, maltreated in the name of this, no way, not in this day and age.

well this is how it is and this is what we r taght by our parents and when u go and complain the parents then they tell u to apply different tricks to make marriage work...like one kumud tried to use on kalika and saras tried by money thing 🤢

so basically u have to be a smart girl and know all tricks and trickery to beat ur opponent ...damn it !!

I'm glad you made the post. Complete mockery of rituals and symbols. That are so sacred. It was worse than yesterday.

Im mad at these new people who took over this show they are hell bent on ruining and turning it into done to death ploT

Not just Sindoor. They made mockery of Phere too. That is even more sacred. Done just once in marital life.

i felt more related to sindoor coz it has been so many times wiped from kumuds maang by her dearest husband 😆

and today she got it from saras and pramad together ...so am confused whose wife she is

now she has 14 phera with pramad so basically no meaning again 🤢

i really wanna ask cvs what they wanna prove ...whose wife is kumud ???

Saras ki jisase usne gandharva vivaah kiya ya pramad ki jiske saath 14 phere liye aur two times maang bharwai and severel times mitwai 😕

My heart is broken today. I am disappointed n feel so ... Stupid??? I dinno!!😕

the last part infuriated me too ...but too much of kummi happiness did remind me that now lady is gonna cry big time...she was really very happy with saras when he ditched her two days before marriage

now she is feeling escatic that she changed a man and now that man is forgiving her mistakes and is taking her as his wife


the biggest irony was once again saras was offered a chance to marry kumud and he threw away the sindoor rejecting her again...while pramad at same time married her publicaly

second irony was that sindoor fell on kumud and she had tears when she touched it ...she had dreamed to have sindoor by saras hand but never this way and never in such situations ...poor thing her dream did come true but Alas she cannot have it anymore

I am looking forward to the day when saras fillsher sooni maang publically stunning all and making Desais and Dharamdhikaaris open their mouth to swallow a fly 😡
