I agree with you. I always ask my mum why she puts it on her forehead during prayers etc as the person who put it there is no longer in her life, though alive... her answer is its a ritual and her duty, responsibility and she is bounded by it as my papa is still alive and that she is not a widow.

She also tells us that we have to be bounded by our rituals and culture.

now she is feeling escatic that she changed a man and now that man is forgiving her mistakes and is taking her as his wife

the biggest irony was once again saras was offered a chance to marry kumud and he threw away the sindoor rejecting her again...while pramad at same time married her publicaly

second irony was that sindoor fell on kumud and she had tears when she touched it ...she had dreamed to have sindoor by saras hand but never this way and never in such situations ...poor thing her dream did come true but Alas she cannot have it anymore

I am looking forward to the day when saras fillsher sooni maang publically stunning all and making Desais and Dharamdhikaaris open their mouth to swallow a fly 😡

Discussing what was shown yesterday makes my blood boil. Imagine when I was so revolted with kusum calling Saras Bhai n then turning her BF for BD, how I am feeling with the mockery they did today just for drama!!
I believe some things should b respected n preserved n transferred n I hate it when they r twisted n ridiculed!!
Coming to our dikra!!
Yes I guess again he will fill that bloody mang of kummi. I won't b surprised that he will do so only to save widow kummi's izzat.

Sindoor lellla made me angry most , i watched episode just like when this episode will end ... skipped scenes but episode not ended ...1 second was like 1 hour and when last scene came then i was just ...what the hell is happening ...saras stood on the corner like a family bodyguard..why saras is there to see this husband wife leela and where is danny ... why he not drugging him outside of this room and kumud the puppet ... . i cant able to related this kumud with the unmarried kumud ...how cvs will repair kumud character again ... this show touched new low ... cvs thinking that they are showing something high octane drama but end up it is damm hilarious laughing things 😉
poor saras still thinking something is wrong

thats ur mothers greatness radha👏

otherwise she is not bound to wear it if they r not in relationship

rituals vary from region to region...in my family and region its a symbol of happy marital life and not life of man himself...but i do agree in many region it means life of man u r married to 😊

even i dont wear it everyday (i am a lazy person ...my saasu maa says 😕), but do wear it in rituals marriage annervery and vrats ...that too by hand of my husband ji 😆

Linda Kumud character has always been like this, the one who sheds tears and then try to move on in life for sake family and people around

when saras rejected her ,she got angry , shed tears challanged him but did move on

when saras wooed her and proposed her publicly she did gave herself to him

when saras ditched her two days before marriage she again shed tears and decided to move on for family

now she is married and has responsibity towards the new family and husband she has been given by marrage rituals ...she is again fulfilling her responsibility honestly

kumud is by and large honest to responsibilities she takes and fulfills them something saras falters at crucial times

we r sympathetic to saras as we do feel the man has redeemed himself and so want that he gets kumud back...but the fact is he has lost her ...and kumud too has given to new life honestly...now its only their entangled luck and unknown force that binds ...can actually bring them together ...coz few things r quit paranomial ...something where our heart and minds have to give up!!!

A beautifully written post and you are completely correct... the meaning of sindoor is so strong you cant do what Pramad does! It really is shocking to watch!
